Ah bugger. It looks like our now daily thunderstorm has come early and I'll get soaked walking to the car.
Jeffari-al-Texani wrote: are you walking in the rain, just to get wet on purpose?
I have been known to do that. LOL
Actually it will be to get from this place that for some reason gives me money every two weeks, to get to my car.
It is currently bucketing outside although I can see sunshine.

Latest shed news in a debate about how ministers should spend their living away from home allowance whilst in Canberra.
".........But living away from home allowances had been in place for a long time, Senator Fielding said.
"Maybe it needs to be reviewed to make sure it's in line with community expectations," he said.
Tasmanian Liberal Senator Guy Barnett said such allowances applied equally to all members of parliament.
MPs could live where they wanted, including Defence Minister Brendan Nelson renting a shed at the back of fellow minister Joe Hockey's premises in Canberra.
"It's a free country and he's entitled to live where he chooses," Senator Barnett said.
"I understand that he has a thoroughly enjoyable time in Joe Hockey's shed and he occasionally sees Joe Hockey and he has a great time as well."
Nationals senator Barnaby Joyce said there was no point in means testing living allowances.
"If you want to live in a teepee or if you want to live in the Hyatt, it's your call," he said.
"But some people like to live in something close to a shack and some people like to live it up."

You can stop sending us rain now. I am freaking sick of these daily thunderstorms.
edit:
It looks like I got off lightly. There were severe hailstorms in part of the city causing extensive damage in parts of the city. Places like the city police station and ANU have been closed today.
I won't complain again. I'm still fookin sick of these thunderstorms. It looks like we'll get another one today. What's new there. This has been going on for three weeks now.
Summer is supposed to be hot and dry here, but this is like living in the tropics.
edit2: Hey with a bit of luck my work will be closed as well, but I don't think so.
Apparently there's still plenty of hail lying about the place, I didn't get any here at all.
Oh this just keeps getting better. I may not even get to work as many roads are still closed.
edit again: Civic (the city centre) may be closed today, but work is open. We are only 2 min drive from threre.

That is hail.
.... and it is bucketing down again for the second thunderstorm today. will this ever stop?
Okay, now I'm curious about this shed thread. ![]()
Mostly 'cause I looked at the last few pages, but now I'm interested.
Seriously.
So, what's it REALLY all about, anyway? ![]()
Oh, the strange girl. F*ck, what's her name again? wrote: Okay, now I'm a shit shag.
Mostly 'cause I keep reading the newspaper while I'm shagging, but now I'm interested in knitting and that's really fucking things up.
Seriously.
So, what do you REALLY think eyebrows are for, anyway?
