I just got done working two straight weeks in a row (my only day off was Xmas, but of course that's because we were closed), I've got my iTunes going while the TV's on and muted just to provide illumination, and it's raining season apparently here in SC :(

But I got the next two days off, I have a ton of Xmas money that I haven't had a chance to spoil myself with yet, and a lot to look forward to this upcoming year (this upcoming weekend, as a matter of fact)

It's 9:30 p.m. here and there isn't a chance of me making it to midnight. It's been a crazy week of Christmas, and I'm skiing with my son tomorrow so have to turn in early.

my husband's boss called and told him that in addition to having all last week off, he also doesn't have to go in tomorrow either because of the dead Prez. All I could say to him was....you suck! In the most affectionate way possible, of course. Not. :banghead: :angry:

happy new year all. and to those i respect and enjoy the most--you know who you are. i just got back from the bahamas where i scuba dived for the first time--exciting! i'm off to work tomorrow for the first time since i got sick in october. it will be strange, that's for sure. no 'day of mourning' for us, unfortunately.
