who feels more cheated by The Go Team playing through tracks with an invisible horn section, than I do by Tom and Ed giving cursory attention to twiddling just the one nob between them throughout Star Guitar?

I feel cheated by Mogwai at times. I can happily listen to electronica without vocals for hours on end. When someone tries the same trick with just geetars and drums and proper instruments, I'm just waiting for the lyric to come in. Just can't get me head around the concept.

That actually makes sense.

Strip an Air or Royksopp album of any vocals and they're just as listenable, you couldn't say the same for an album by Paul Weller or Crowded House.
