Absolute bloody disgrace... you've got kids out there being seriously beaten/abused/neglected/starved by their parents or legal guardians and Childline's being monopolised by sad fuck Harry Potter readers.

The only people worse than the kids reading that shite are the adults.
Wellll it's gonna die after a week or so of the release date of this volume, since it's the final one :P
Anyways, if you want to feel better, go look up the plot of the upcoming book, and when the lines for the release of the book start forming up, start shouting in public who dies, etc

I think the point they make about it "bringing back memories" is the key one. Kids may have unpleasant things brought back to them by all sorts of media or personal experiences, and may as a result feel the need to call childline to get it off their chests. In this case we have potentially millions of kids simultaneously exposed to a single, potentially memory triggering media event.
Having said the above.....
Anyone who rings it BECAUSE some non-existent spotty cunt gets offed should of course be asked to call back on a landline so that the RINGER VOLTAGE CAN BE HOOKED STRAIGHT UP THE EARPIECE INTO THEIR "BRAIN".
I listened to the audio books in the depths of my not wellness last year and found them a pleasant enough distraction, but hardly classic literature. Can see the appeal and benefit to kids too (since I pretty much consider myself about 14 
), each book lengthens and expands the language, plot complexity and general depth, in that respect they are like Ye Olde Reading Books.
Besides, ANYTHING that gets a kid to read anything but a text message or Take a Shit CANNOT be bad.

Nah, when I was small, my classmate made fun of my Duran Duran cut out picture sticked to my notebook that I got from a songhits magazine. He drew horns and other stuff to the members, that made me really upset with him, and I didn't talk to him for the rest of the school year!
Now, I'll probably tear down a Duran Duran poster when I see one.

Take That had a song last decade called 'Back For Good' which, unfortunately, still gets some airplay in the adult contemporary music station in my part of the world.
The band had Robbie Williams. He's the dude that did that song 'Millenium' from a handful of years back.

But let's face it, the percentage of kiddlywinkles ringing up - reminded by this book - to blub about harsh memories of their pet hamster being found in its cage feet skywards versus the amount blubbing about their favourite Harry Tosser character(s) snuffing it... well let's just say I think the latter will overrun the former.

Kids with genuine grief at losing a loved one obviously need someone to talk to. It's just the Harry Tosser fans could be monopolising Childline keeping kids with proper problems away from someone to talk to
