..died today when his drag car ran off the strip....

This man has made alcohol drag history!!! he has mentored many and touched SO many lives!!! He would help his opponent at the starting line if they needed it...and they HAVE!! My first drag race was to go see John. His son is one of our best friends and John is a GREAT loss to many!!!!! Thank you for the continued support you have shown him!! John suffered from a heart attack somewhere after the starting light, and somewhere before the finish line. I would like to think that he "Went out like a champion!!!!"
