Never listened to the Orb. Heard of 'em, but never got around to listening to them. Guess I've always thought they were more ambient backround noise, to which I couldn't be arsed to listen to. Guess I'll download an album to listen to... any suggestions on the definitive album?
Orb.
Never, to my knowledge, disappeared up their own pipes.
I'm just digitising the new album from compact disc to mypod.

Do I win £40?
only if you sing in your BEST DAVID Bowie voice.......

I'd easy have you in a Bowie soundalike-off.
Laughing GNOME Snorri would win.
It's a tough one so i'll go for the The Orb's remix albums of Dark Side Of The Moon and Wish You Were Here.Eric Prydz' remix of Brick In The Wall/Proper Education whatever it's called is top stuff too
The Orb, by a country mile.
I'd put Slow Bongo Floyd above PF; they were great for about two months in 1991.
Everyone know's Radiohead are the new Pink Floyd!
Orb's Fluffy Little Clouds is one of my favourite tracks though, its superb!

There's no reason to rush these things, especially when there might be £40 at stake...
