Queen v. Erasure? I thought you were talking about the same folks! :D *rim (job) shot* :D :D :D :D
Queen is class... never could get Erasure, wish it could live up to its name and erase itself from the music catalogs

I second the motion.![]()
Indeed!
Never thought of it before, but the two bands have a lot in common. Clearly bursting with talent but never afraid to take the piss out of themselves; almost a novelty act at times.
Still different enough to make comparing them a bit pointless though IMO.
I read an interview with Vince Clarke recently. Did you know he's got new hips. He wore the old ones out with all that swinging around and the charlie didn't help, apparently.

And WHERE would i put my DUSTER?![]()
Mmmm memories of Seven seas of rye and Brighton rock or clubbing in Stuttgart. Decisions decisions
Why do you compare both of them ??....ok, i've got it...there are gays in both.
for me....Obviously Queen...by 1000 miles ![]()
Queen............barely. I'm In Love With My Car and Fat Bottomed Girls sound good on the radio, but that's about it. Don't own any Erasure.

Oh, I see you've visited my fair state. It's truly amazing how you've reduced as culturally diverse a state as Texas into a single sentence. Aweso.... I mean "brilliant".

Much like Queen for me!
My boss asked me to drive down to Watford today in the company car (some Vauxhall model , dunno what but it went like buggery!! beautiful drive
) to do a delivery.Help yerself to the CDs he said. They were ALL Queen and Erasure
What's all this about then? If you are a Queen fan you have to be an Erasure fan too?
I recall that Queen used to have lots of rocker style fans who sort of shut up about it when their macho lead singer came out.
They were simpler times, so much easier to be 'in'
I still know people now who refuse to believe that Freddie was anything other that 100% hetero-moustachioed masculine magnificence.
