Dya land there or is that your launch pad?

For me, it can be both.

I grew up in a big city [er, Miami, anyone?] for most of my life, but left about 5 years ago because it got too congested, overpopulated, and nothing less of... well... the same ol' shite. I was tired of having to make sure I didn't get caught up in some turf war or drive-by.

Moved to a small town, and that was my landing pad. It's now at times my launch pad, home sweet home, and pretty much where I wish I grew up in. And, I have family up here too, some I haven't seen in years.

Oh, and did I mention we have JD/NO fans here too?

So for some, a small town can be home, and there's some pride to it.
