I think this weeks Sign is actually me siding with Naomi Campbell. According to the story as published. She went to T5 to fly to Jesusland for a memorial service. Got on like a bit of a dick saying she wanted all her luggag as carry-on, because of BA's astounding bag-loss record. They declined and absolutely swore not to lose this bag.

(the following bit, IF ACCURATE, puts me on her side, however, it doesn't ring too true)

BA staff then approached her on the aircraft.... "Miss Campbell, you know that bag we swore we wouldn't lose all the way to Jesusland? Well, we've lost it already. Oh and because we've lost it you will have to leave the aircraft and get a later flight, missing your friend's memoruial service".

(you see what doesn't tally there....I know if the passenger doesn't make the flight, the bag has to come off, for obvious security reasons....but has anyone ever heard of a passenger coming off cos the airline broke the world record on baggage incompetance?? And thus my sympathy hinges. If this is true, then what followed was perfectly natural behaviour, if on the other hand, they told her about the bag, she lost it, and was THEN asked to leave the flight, then fuck her really, BA should be ashamed of their idiocy, but she still would have gotten herself and her other bag to NYC).

Basically there was kicking,screaming, and spitting on coppers (she is SO fucked for that in court).

But, if they really lost her bag and threw her off the flight because of that, then the airline and it's lackies deserved everything they got. She's still a stupid, ignorant clotheshorse, but just this once I fear I'd have done exactly the same.
