something about other Northern towns as well

but as usual, the scousers have hijacked it and as usual are feeling sorry for themselves.

Just been on the Radio

"Liverpools great. I wouldnt be paid to go to London"

"Who do they think they are?"

""We're the Capital of Culture"

"We're get strangers talking to each other here, it doesnt happen ANYWHERE else"

Why is it, that the scousers I know, like PHD and John who goes in the Lass, are decent people, yet without fail, ever single Scouser interviewed on the Radio or Telly is nothing less than a complete and utter cretin.

And then some scouser came on the Radio, and was asked about comments on the other cities, and all he wanted to talk about was Liverpool. Shopping Centre this, regeneration that, Capaital of culture the other.

I'm sure the book of condolence for this latest assaaut and persnal attack on the people of Liverpool is already open at the Cathedral.

I've had a lovely Wednesday afternoon lying on the sofa drinking tea, eating biscuits, watching a bit of the Olympics and having a doze here and there.I reckon i might get myself a teapot so i can brew a pot and work my way through it over the afternoon instead of having to get up from the sofa. Then all i'll need is a grandfather clock .I quite fancy having that old tick tock sound accompanying my Wednesday afternoons on the couch.Ace.

No need for a 'Think Tank' to tell people that, they are doing it already. Britain as whole would amount to very little were it not for a) London's world dominance in finance b) the (former) industrial powerhouse of Manchester. Everywhere else lags so far behind its not true. And yes, Tarbie, Macca, Cilla et al are all complete prats.
