Could be DNS, if you get a "Pong" from NOOL, but not, say some site you've ever been to before, it is likely a DNS issue. Can you get to your ISP's homepage?

Strangely enough, same thing happenned with me earlier today. Utorrent was stull running, as was MSN, but couldnt get on any internet site.
I solved the problem by disconnecting and connecting.
Wierd.
