Out of Balance DVDs

Anyone else noticing a rash of new DVDs coming out that are out of balance?

The last two new movies I've rented The Happening and Nim's Island have been so out of balance that my DVD player sounds like its about to blowup, and won't play at all... I then put them in my computer to play and it will, but shakes the hell out of the computer... went back to the store numerous times to get a different dvd of the same movie and they all did the same thing....

is this the movie companies trying to destroy our dvd players so we are compelled to buy Bluray?

It's down to the replication process........poor injection moulding process.........most probably a fault / misallignment of the mould or moulding machine plattens / tie bars.......a fairly common fault which should be picked up through daily checks.........amateurs
