This isn't working out

Guys, This will be my last post ever on NOOL. Throughout the time i've been on here i've been scoffed, ridiculed, insulted, and belittled. Some of it I brought on to myself. Some of it I think just has to do with the personalities on this board. Either way, I clearly don't fit in and even when I try to make serious heartfelt posts that I feel strongly about (drug addiction), I just get mocked further. I've been told before i'm more than welcome to ban myself, and i'm clearly not welcome on this board. I will continue to read posts anonymously sometimes, but I will no longer post on here. I've just come to the conclusion that we are not compatible. I hold no grudges and I sincerely wish every single person on here the very best, but I will do you all a favor and leave the board for good. I'm obviously not wanted here. I accept that. You got your wish.

Maybe i'm too sensitive, maybe I'm just not in touch with how most of the people on here are. Either way, this is goodbye. Regardless, no hard feelings and may NOOL live on for as long as possible.

In my opinion, there's two valid responses to negative feedback on here: enjoy it and play up to it, or take it on board and try not to generate it.

The invalid response is to go all biscuit arsed and fall out with everyone over it. In fact I thought your post about Keane generated a pretty interesting conversation and I don't recall much, err, hatin' towards yourself. I suppose when you're sat there, stoned and hard-done-to, it's easy to confuse good-natured ribbing with animosity.

You have to admit, it's not NOOL style to simply say "fuck off". We do tend to come up with some imaginative ways to call people names.
