On reflection, I would choose McCain/Palin from the two options. Obama has yet to prove himself as worthy of standing up for his own opinions (or even expressing any) and, of the four, Palin is the only one with any experience in an executive role.
It's a fucking disgrace that those four wankers are the best that a county of so many millions can put forward.
Desiring to be President should be grounds for ineligibility.
The whole charade has been a case study in why the electoral process is wrong. At least this time it should come down to who's got the most money, rather than who's better at cheating.

I never got why some people are uncomfortable telling people who they are voting for. It's not like you are revealing the last time you wet your bed at someone else's place, or the first time you danced with a girl and you put your arms on her shoulders......I mean there are some sheep that will vote for Obama, and some intelligent (yet misguided) saps that would vote for McCain. May as well be proud of who you are supporting, regardless of what anyone else thinks. But then again I almost never care what anyone else thinks of me, so maybe i'm different in that matter.

You maybe right, they might have feared if they pulled him out earlier, the effect could have been lessened by people seeing a racial divide growing... this close to the election it keeps that to a minimum.
However, I'm not sure how much effect it will have because it isn't all that surprising. There were plenty rumors that he would endorse Obama at the end of the primary... its just been made legitimate.

Well, I knew he was going to signal-- if not outright announce-- his support for one of the candidates today. And given the way the Bush Administration duped him into going to the UN with phony evidence to drum up support for the invasion of Iraq, and his ongoing battles with the neocons in the Bush Administration during his tenure as Secretary of State, it certainly wasn't a surprise.
Reading his comments today on why he has decided to endorse Obama, I tend to think he's being genuine.
