On some obscure satelite channel there was an hour highlights programme of this event, last night. I only caught the last bit but wondered if it featured New Order. The thing that sprung to my mind was there were all these accomplished jazz bands playing and I couldnt imagine New Order playing such an event.
Did anyone go to this event back in the day? Ive seen the footage on NewOrderStory and heard the MP3 of the gig and I thought New Order sounded very tight and professional. Were there any other non-jazz bands on the bill. I remember seeing Robert Plant on the NewOrderStory.
