I must be in Chicago for the next week (a really boring Trade Fair, if you must know) but I shall be taking one day off so if you live there I would appreciate your input in what's worth visiting (I understand that the City Centre is a showcase for 20th Century architecture). Any idea about good bed & breakfast in the area? Do you have a gorgeous late twenties-early thirties ladyfriend to spare?
