Space shuttle is a good shout, forgot about that. That was in the days when jokes went round by word of mouth rather than text messaging. That disaster had nearly as many jokes as Jacko pegging it.

if i remember rightly, and i probably dont, zammo wasnt found with a needle but with a bit of foil. round the back of an arcade? by ro-laaaaand? more memorable of course was his lovely girl friend jackie. also booga benson giving tucker a kicking also springs to mind. booga benson, what a great/shit nick name! the sausage (of course) as for mandella, i think it was a sunday that he was released, it was showing live on telly and my mum wanted this historic moment turned over so she could watch the omnibus of eastenders. alas i dont know if everyone spoke about it the next day at school as i had left long ago. the first iraq war, happened half way through the film wise guys, a classic, well not really, but i was getting right into it when it it was rudely interupted for a n all night news flash of night vision showing kinda explosions maybe, but it was hard to tell. i had to wait about a year for the wise guys film to resume, its about two old crooks that aer released from prison after donkeys years into a world that is foreign to them now and shows the some times funny and some times sad situations they find themselves in, ultimately i think they decide to do "one more job" because even if they get caught jail would be better than the lives they now lead. fuck, if anyone wants to discuss this film any further please dont hesitate to contribute, though come to think of it, it might not have been called wise guys. hope this clears things up. i have just finished a 12 hour night shift, you will have to excuse my rambling. night night.

We sat watching Columbia's first launch get scrubbed a lot at primary school, but we missed it when she finally lifted off.
Think the biggest TV event we talked about was the episode of Thunderbirds (Terror in NYC) in which Thunderbird2 was shot down by trigger happy merkins.

I never saw that episode, but it was included in the cartoons at the start of each episode. I always wondered why the sausage was flying through the air on the end of the fork.
