Roy Skelton was the voice behind Zippy, whom for non-Brits was the cheeky charactor in Rainbow, the best ever children's TV programme.

the death of anyone is never 'good'. And I'm appalled at your spelling.
Mr Skelton was not massively significant, the voice of Zippy will surely not go down in the pantheon of Oscar winning voiceovers.
He did however voice the Daleks, which i would have thought is more relevant.
Yes. More Who Royalty sadly departing this mortal coil; The Brigadier, Sarah Jane and now the voice of the Daleks / Cybermen.
RIP.
Although the daleks always come back.
