just a little observation...

Siobahn forces me to go out on the patio to smoke (doesn't want the apartment reeking of smoke), but on a normal day, I see a plane go by every couple of minutes to make it's final approach to D/Fw...I've been out for about 5 or 6, and I haven't seen a single plane...eerie...did they cut back the flight schedule that much?

I see the same pattern here in Seattle Jeff. Yesterday there were about 3 planes per minute approaching Sea-Tac airport (i counted) and today, during the same time of day, I have only seen ONE plane pass. My apartment is under a main route to Sea-Tac fromt the north approach and no planes are passing. I read that United cut 70% of their flights (i think) and i'm sure others have done the same.
