Didn't Jonathan King once admit to taking a shine to one of the Carter guys?

Or is that just another unsubstantiated rumour?

Djamolidine Abdoujaparov was a fantastic Russian sprinter. Won quite a few stages of the Tour de France. Massive thighs. That is all.

yeah he won the sprints, but he was always out come the mountains wasn't he?

Ha! Trust me to be the one to mention it

I used to rather like EMF as a youngster....remember being mildly embaressed though when my dad asked what the initials stood for ;)

you mean you didnt come out with the alternate epsom mad funksters? have a demo copy of the 1st album recorded in zaks bedroom & a copy of ian denchs (the songwriter) previous bands album, very interesting comparing them to the finished versions!

Mountains aren't the place for the riders with massive thighs. Lactic acid build up is the enemy.

didnt cippolini finish the odd tour though? he had large thighs (& large fines for his non regulation kit)

That is DEFINATLY all :o

I think he crashed out of most of them, may have finshed one.

There's a new bike in development that's able to propel an average sized man (about 21 stone) across pebbles at 50.

It's called the flying bastard.

I can't let any more details out on the subject but rest assured PennyBenders have secured 2,000 on pre-order and intend to sell at 30. The price will drop after the first week when news is leaked about the retro-fit outboard motor obtainable for only 6. Mind, this requires a motor cycle proficiency badge.

Didn't he have to have his grid reconstructed at a cost of about 10k?

And I'm talking about when I was a wee slip of a lass....14 years of age I was when I was into that lot

Coming up to my (whisper it) 26th bithday now....okay, now I'm scared!

Was that before or after they changed the preset drum machine pattern from A to B?

... oh well, I've tried me best to join in today but ... I guess it's time to pick up my bag, don my hat (it had blown into a tree out the back) and head off homeward bound.

Goodbye for now.

... just one last thing, it's good to know you did realise I was talking about Carter re: preset drum patterns.

Keep the faith.

Used ta be a big Carter USM fan meself actually! Snotty belligerent electro-punk rock par excellence... but I don't believe they are actually playin' as Carter noo - more like two different bands - something called Jims Stereo Superworld and the other guy's band, whatever they're called ... Whose The Baddy Now or something.

:smoker: :smoker:

who's the daddy - thats the name of the tour that both bands are in where they play carter usm stuff. see earlier posts for answers to the original question though!
