Another year. Another list. Yawn....

Who hasn't seen all this bobbins before? Are they trying to tell us that they've simply been re-ordering the same list they been printing for the last 10 years - thus giving every song that has been in the top 10 its own chance to be number one?

Okay, so they voted LWTUA as the best single ever. Big deal. But note how all the usual suspects seem to be lurking not far behind, such as The Stone Roses and Underworld to name but two more recent (and utterly execrable) examples.

In fact they have the utter audacity to say on their website, that to read the rest of the "exclusive" Top 100 you have to fork out and buy the NME this week. Shameless money-grabbing self-congatulation has never sunk so low - even by their usual tawdry standards. :nonono:

it made me so happy to see LWTUA as number one...it's easily my favorite song of all-time.

But surely not when you've got Barney whooping and grunting all over it, like he's so fond of doing these days.

And Hooky going... "Come On"...
