just bought nyself a box of sausage & tomato golden wonder & noticed that w*****s are taking over from golden wonder.
not on in my opinion - they even have their cheese & onion & salt n vinegar in the wrong colour packs!

Nik Naks are the best crisps £1.57 for a pack of ten at Sainsburys. Lager goes down a treat with the rib 'n' saucy flavour in particular.
nik naks are golden wonder aren't they? (i know wheat crunchies are)
but they arent potato based & so didnt include them (same reason pringles not in there)
Eeeeee Walkers for me. Downunder they call em chips
fookin colonials.
In south London they call em crips fookin dislexiks
pringles are reformed potato snacks.
a crisp (or chip if your weird) is a slice of potato fried in oil.
ipso facto pringles are not crisps.

& as for voting for w*****s - shame on you - the funny after taste - the almost cold feel to them - they are nowhere near as nice as golden wonders.
Straight cut SEABROOKS Cheese and Onion,TWIGLETS and those REALLY RUTHLESS crisps that i think they have stopped doing.I used to eat 10 bags a day!But now with the dieting i only have a couple.:DSo from your list it is WALKERS.
but golden wonder have the patented ultrafoil packaging to maintain freshness.
compare their chicken flavour to the wa*kers ones (go on - go out & do it now!) they win hands down

Here, beside Lays (and I mean the whole Frito-Lays variety, which include Doritos, Lays, Ruffles and company), there is Humpty Dumpty and that's mostly what you have beside other "small actors"...

While we're at it, Bacon Fries are scrumtious an all, and don't get me started on TWIGLETS, mind you, the curry flavoured ones are absolutely mingin! Them cheap and nasty SPACE RAIDERS are also not too bad, and who could possibly argue, I mean, the fuckers are still only 10p int they?
Crisps are great!
walkers--preferably smoky bacon or prawn cocktail (with a nice pint of mc ewans 80 to cleanse the palate). of course walkers also make the scrumptious 'quavers' product. yum.

shug - this is a poll about crisps/potato chips - not about snacks. monster munch, quavers, twiglets, nick nacks, hula hoops, space raiders, frazzles, pringles & skips etc are not crisps/potato chips!

Yes they were quite good but not as good as CHEESE FOOTBALLS.
Walkers salt n vinegar or smoky bacon. every time.
used to like seabrook's crinkly salt n vinegar and thames crisps.

I think the best crisps are Kettle Chips - Sea Salt and Balsamic Vinegar flavour and Salsa with Mesquite. I think they are available in the US.

Kettle Chips are the new Pringles.
Pringles are failing, only 1 in every 10 boxes now contain the magical formula 'flavour overload by mistake'.
Asda now stock a new range which kick backside. They're a bit like kettle chips but half the price - they're sharp enough you could use them to drill a hole in brick with the appropriate power tool (crisp enabled). At about 90pence they just about double the value of the Kettle boys and thus steal the current show, in my humbled opini-onion.
The original poll neglects too many classic crisp (and crisp variant) manufacturers as to make it totally null and void. A formal letter should be sent, for instance, to the creators of 'Salt & Shake' full of apologies.
There is a new breed of crisp on the horizon, made of dried vegetables. Details are sketchy but rumours suggest they could kill a man around 135 pounds at 3 feet.
