It used to be every Thurs, Fri, Sat & Sunday, but if I tried that these days, I'd be dead in a couple of weeks.

I think my personal drinking record was 44 days on the trot, mostly spent with my good pal Malky, this was a good few years back, round about the time Rangers were winning the league every year:nonono:

Recently I haven't been drinking a lot, although last Friday we went out after footy, we had near enough 10 pints in 3 hours.....fair to say I cannae remember getting home. Currently saving for America in July, but as soon as myself and Donnie get over there, we'll show em how to drink lager.....Jeff The Chef has already sampled one of these days, although the big jessie probably cannae remember much about it:beer:

Where is that big jessie?

I used to drink virtually every night at university. In my last days there, as I was trying to savour the dying embers of student life, I must have been at the pub every night for two or three months. Savouring the dying embers of student life, and the fact that I fancied the barmaid.

These days though, getting up before seven in the morning, I don't really drink apart from Fridays and Saturdays, so it's "Binges at weekends" for me.

More of a binge weekender here, though when I was a bit younger and going to clubs and gigs all of the time, it was more like 2 or 3 days a week. Responsibilites have a way of cutting into the drink totals, though I will have a margarita or 3 when dining on Mexican cuisine.

Since I went shopping today in aid of the ailing economy, I'm gonna get twisted tonight on some Henry Weinhard's ale and Black Butter Porter that are chilling in the fridge. It's been a tough week, so I definitely need a drink or four tonight.

Mostly at weekends, unless I've time off work. Nursing a hangover at the moment, thanks to being in the pub at noon yesterday to watch the Toon get a lesson in the finer points of finishing.

"Can you recommend anything for a hangover?" "Yeah, get pissed the night before."

VERY LITTLE...alcohol messes with my meds.

Lately the beer has been flowing for me like wine...the past 3 nights in a row I was very off it

However, me and my mate's piss up in Niagara Falls last night didn't end up too well... :barf: :barf:

I'll be off the stuff for quite sometime. (Next weekend, who knows though)

None of the above actually... I tend to go for it bigtime on a Friday, have a few on Saturday, skip Sunday, maybe one or two on Monday, skip Tuesday (unless there's a match on), few more on Wednesday, skip Thursday (unless there's a party on, for some reason most parties are on Thursdays here), then repeat to fade.

Usually about two or three drinks on a Saturday night (with water between them) and none during the week.

Weekend binges for me, I do not touch the stuff on weekdays except if I eat with my colleagues, then I will have a "carajillo" to round up my meal, a expresso coffe with some liquor poured on it usually rum, cognac or Bailey's, I normally go for the Bailey's.

Watch out for an Irish cream liquor called Brogans. Similar to a Baileys but with a much more Irish name to it! Only seems to be available in Eire or in foreign airports.

Now why would I do that? Actually it does exist and they do have a website. My father's sister married a Bailey and they were a lot richer than us Brogans and they did rather look down on us so my father banned bottles of Baileys from the house. Imagine the joy a few years ago when my elder brother returned from Aberdeen airport with a bottle of Brogans! Since then my elder son came back from Munich airport clutching a Brogans. No longer do we have to drink the cream of the enemy! And no, Huber, the CD has still not arrived. Must have been intercepted by the Baileys.

   Quality, Chris!

I'll keep my eyes peeled for Brogan's next time I am at an airport, thanks.

And I shall be sending you another copy of the CD during this week.

I rarely drink anything. No liquids whatsoever. No, wait, that can't be right...

I rarely drink anything alcoholic. Maybe once every few months. When I do drink, I keep my limit at two drinks. Because of this rigorous regimen of imbibing, two drinks is all I can handle. But for women who might be buying, I'm a cheap date!

Every once in a great while, I will go beyond my two drink limit. When I was in Serbia, I had several opportunities to stop counting after 8 tequila shots; same at the end of the school year party in May. Since May, I have had three bottles of beer.

And water.

In Serbia (hmmm, my alcohol memories seem to be based in Serbia), I poured myself a Bailey's at a house party, when everybody else was drinking rakija (the national drink- a really strong brandy). A Bosnian woman eyed my Bailey's and wondered out loud whether "a real man drinks Bailey's."
