This is actually an on-topic question, because of the extended Mattress parody that opens the show.

Did you see the show a few years ago with the Phantom Menace parody featuring Lisa Kudrow and Andy Dick? Watching the council scenes in Attack of the Kleins, I could think only of that really superb piece.
it may be on-topic on a different thread patrick - but it ain't on this one! i saw the program of which you speak & it was a pretty decent parody - how did they do the oracles bits?

I'm not sure what you mean, H2.
There seems to be as much effort put into these parodies than the awards and films themselves. Is there a case for an awards show about awards show ceremony parodies of their awards show nominees?
Isn't this more complex than the Matrices?

o!
well the actress who played the pracle was dead - keanus bits in the parody were all straight lifts from the film, but do not recall the oracle using language like that! (it wasnt the original oracle was it?)

No, it was definitely a different and much less talented actress. The hair was pretty similar though.

I can't think of any other awards show with parodies like this.
However, next year there should be a new category: best acceptance. Winner: Gollum.
Originally posted by masaaki sakai curses - missed gollums speech, saw yoda's though which was pretty good.
Gollum's was much, much better. The best thing on the show.
The Charlie's Angels parody was pretty good also.
Originally posted by Huntsman I heard Gollum's speach was overrated.
I bet you heard that from Yoda.

hey why don't you start evoking laughter on this thread I'm not sure, though it could be due to suffering a recent loss. I've mislaid the instructions to my Morphy Richards Comfi Grip Professional Plus(or Mr Comfy as I call him). I'm now having difficulties in retrieving the anti-scale cartridge and worse I'm not even sure whether or not I should attempt to do so without first emptying out the water inside. Which I’m reluctant to do as it’s a messy business and I’m sure it will be deemed unlucky by some future civilizations( though they may well have invented an easier way of obtaining crease free apparel, perhaps an advanced model of the Corby trouser Press and thus reducing ‘Mr Comfy’ to a defunct museum piece, like you or I may think of a mangle).
Do you see my predicament?
having trouble ironing out your problems there hank?
hang up the garment in the bathroomn & have a hot shower - lots of steam helps reduce creases* then leave clothes under your matress for the pressed look
*does not work on wrinkles.
That's easy for you to say but we've been through a lot together and I've grown attatched to Mr Comfy(though my surgeon assures me its not inoperable).

Nah, I've tried that and then you try to get out of the shower, eyes still full of shampoo and you're not as surefooted as usual since you had a couple of lagers to unwind upon reaching the hotel, so you slip, and in a desperate effort to keep your balance you clutch on the nylon curtain which is incapable of properly supporting your weigh, so the curtain gets tored off, the bar gives, the hanging clothes end up half inside the tube completely soaked and the other half equally soaked but inside the commode which you had left open as it's your custom after peeing and you yourself, completely naked but for the telling bits of lingerie still on ,legs akimbo and with heavy head contusion have to keep pressing the panic button to be rescued by the maid.

Just come clean you were attempting to position the mirrors in alignment with the t.v. which was on the porno chanel.

Absobloodylutely! A task make all the more difficult by the fact that them mirrors get full of steam so you end up paying for the porn chanel and having to watch it steam-codified.

So did it, since it made a heck of a lot more sense than episode I. The excessive computer animation and bad acting kind of got on my nerves in both, though.

And Yoda channeling his inner Matrix...I was watching one of the documentaries on the second disc of the DVD saying how the animators tried to make Yoda look believable all jumping around and kicking ass. Yeah, very convincing, fellas! :D
