Would there be any interest in an Original Factory Released Limited edition Substance double cassette box set?
Between 1985 and 1987 Factory issued a series of limited edition boxed cassettes. There were 22 in total, each packaged in a hessian-style, 17cm x 12cm box containing reproductions of the original artwork and each one becoming an immediate collectors item.
The five New Order albums were packaged in white boxes with exclusive postcard size inserts.
The hardest to find is this double cassette edition of "Substance" featuring the red and blue albums on two stereo cassettes. This was the last collectors box in the series and appears to have been particularly limited.
Rumour has it Tony Wilson ordered and paid for 10,000 and only 2,000 were ever delivered.
