Chicago concert

I'll be driving down to Chicago from Milwaukee for the show. Any recommendations from those in Chicago about the best place to park and travel to the venue? There is parking near the Aragon but I've seen some posts saying the neighborhood isn't the safest. Where is the best ( in terms of safe and access to other transportation modes ) parking sites for this show?

Any recommendations from those in Chicago on good places to eat/dring before and after the show would be appreciated by many.

Check out this website for eating/drinking and places to go after concert if you wish...  http://metromix.chicagotribune.com/  you can sort by neighborhood, cuisine, etc.  If you want to eat near the concert venue, enter Uptown as neighborhood.  With regard to parking, i've read other posts here about putting your car in a lot and taking el or bus.. check out CTA site for maps, schedules, etc.  http://www.transitchicago.com .  Good luck.

there's been a bunch of great recommendations in other threads. I'm a big fan of metromix.com, it has everything there. The Aragon is in "Uptown" so you can do a search for restaurants and be close to the Aragon.

I think, not 100 percent, but a bunch of us are meeting at the Green Mill. After, heading to Neo for the neworderonline.com after party with new order give aways and great music.

As far as parking your car and taking the train, I suggest parking up north by Loyola university or at the Bryn Mawr stop (west of the stop, go one block past Broadway and walk to the train stop). From there, it's 5 minutes by train to the Aragon.

Side note--I love driving to Milwaukee every now and then to go to Club Anything. Nice place and near the expressway :)

Thanks for the advice - the threads are a bit messy but everyone from Chicago has been quite helpful.  While Milwaukee's bars aren't open as late as Chicago's, we try to offer something for everyone.
