You're not in super high quality right?
Here it's incredible!
dumping it to a nicam tape BTW.
Right...I'm off til after....or at least until I recover from their entrance.
Happy pillaging muddyfunsters.
Is there a link to this super high? I don't use WMP perhaps that is the problem... There was a "mms Stream" but it didn't work...

No, it seems off to me also, very weird for some reason

Love Vigilantes
Yeah! It seemed a bit tinny or something. Not his usual robust self. ![]()
The web stream probably wasnae helping, though - it still sounded off on the pure MPEG2 here.
krafty now
True Faith...
Complete with the usual lyrical modification
Transmisson
They seem to be having problems with "sg" - synth guitars?
Dawn Zee's backing vocals are very audible on the songs so far - it makes for an interesting effect.
He just specifically said his "is everyone having a good time" and SAID it was a cliche ![]()
Run Wild
Please tell me the autocue is broken.
Damn it, Bernard didn't get most of the lyrics of Run Wild ok !!
01 - Crystal 02 - Regret 03 - Love Vigilantes 04 - Krafty 05 - True Faith 06 - Transmission 07 - Run Wild 08 - Jetstream 09 - Waiting For The Sirens' Call 10 - Bizarre Love Triangle 11 - Love Will Tear Us Apart 12 - Temptation

It's evident they will do something new tonight, they skipped Hey Now What You Doing... ![]()
However when they played Love Vigilantes, I said "that's it.. same set"

I'm sure if something different is coming it will be in the encore. But wouldn't it be great if they played EGG after this or something?
Good mix from XFM, no poxy DJ talking between songs and the sound is much better than the BBC are dishing out from Glastonbury. NO sound really good tonight.
Kiss of death that was - jingle just kicked in!
Nearly had a heart attack there, XFM put a branding segment in for a few secons, and I thought it was a fucking adbreak.
Hooky talking for once...
BLT.
Best joke of the evening yet is when Bernard asked somebody in the audience what he was saying...
"New Order? we know we are New Order"...

I can't listen to this but reading this play by play is more exciting than watching childbirth
"I see the head...!"
some signal dropouts here ![]()
Love Will Tear Us Apart - he said something about word free? what the?
Is it me or him bolloxing the vocals? could be my memory, doubt it..
the "COME ON" and "YEAH" really destroy this track more than any others.
I must say, through the years, their rendition of LWTUA is excellent.... it's getting better each time.
Oh no, here goes the "COME ON!!!!!!!!"

Yeah, i couldnt get that bit either![]()
(I've got my nool t-shirt on for a bit of atmosphere
- no really!

I agree. It was actually the highlight of the NYC show for me.
Another branding bug, argh...
Barney claiming that LWTUA was "the first ever indy record". Right...
And its Temptation, as predicted.
why are they wasting time with Run Wild? talk about tuneless dirge. where are the promised oldies?

You listening on Sky as well?
Got the TV off and the rca leads into my amp, feels like a live recording bar the irregular XFM branding
Biznotic Love Trapezoid wrote: why are they wasting time with Run Wild? talk about tuneless dirge. where are the promised oldies?
Unless they do a shorter set.. there is a place for 2 new songs in the set now...
That is only song #12, usually it goes to encore... 3 songs, they play 16 or 17 songs.
So there's hope.. but it's New Order, so it's not going to happen ![]()
Bere wrote: Anyone recording this in good quality? I'm recording the low-quality stream...
I'm recording the high quality stream, but I guess people will have it from the satellite in better quality (although it's awesome!)
Bere wrote: They have to finish in 7 minutes

22 minutes by the timer on my Sky box compared to the O2 site...
And they're off... however, encore is a definate.

Right, I'm listening in far better quality here ![]()
....aaaand they're back.
Technical problems pervade - 1984 all over again, Gillian and crashing synths :p
Atmosphere.

Yes but are you 'taping' it & where's my copy?
"Life rebuilding,
ornahurning" - now there are some class lyrics
love it!!!!
Obvious that the technical problems are autocue problems...
Bernard should seriously ask the crowd to sing along when he doesn't remember the lyrics...

bernard is a joke. the aggro men on here like to blame Gillian for not being able to play but it's Bernard that ruins the gig 9 times out of 10.

Is campbell coming down for oxegen?
It sounds amazing! I'm sat here in bournemouth---lights out-looking at the stormy sky listeniung to atmosphere.....bliss...if only i was there ENJOY everyone...everywhere!! xxx
Now if he screws the lyrics to Blue Monday, I will lose any faith in New Order.
They played it 300 times... can't be that hard to remember!!
oh my GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm losing control!!!!!!!!!!
Take me barney!!!!!

Funny, they didn't use any branding in the first hour... now they are putting one on each song.
Avoid bootlegging I guess... ![]()

Yep. I think musically they sound great tonight but Barney gets on my tits - especially the JD songs!!!!!!
Complete with Kylie samples
FUCKS SAKE, he's actually managed to bollox the lyric of the ONLY track they've played EVERY DAMN TIME since 1983...

"Lazy cunts"
Q. How many years has that phrase been used here?
A. More than "Rose from the ashes".
anyway,I'm consoling myself in the knowledge I'm not safe around Bernard.....after last time...
God..I LOVE HIM!!!!!!
Wouldnt I just love to be meeting him as he came off stage to rub him down with a rough towel...and a large vodka&orange........mmmmmmm Barney!!!

WOW.....what a gig. That's 3 performances in a row where they rocked....can't last....bad luck glastonbury :)
LOL @ BM......It CANNOT have been an accident, unless he had NO autocue AND no monitors AND couldn't count. Without any one of those conditions he would either not have lost it, or worked out the problem in short order and fucked up for 2 bars. My vote? Assassination (the song, by barney, as opposed to Barney, by the band, NOOLers, his own large intestine leaping up to throttle his brain to save us all)
Wish he hadn't banjaxed the words to SLC cos it was a lovely performance and nicely mixed. Atmosphere was still born to my ear, just lifeless. Apart from that little list, I can't remember hearing them play so well, certainly not in their modern incarnation.
BTW...."blah blah blah....daft bastard...blah blah.....make me feel guilty" from hookie..... any ideas? Was he chuckin someone off the stage or responding to whatever fookface had just mumbled.
I did get a good recording to nicam dig off sky.....just have to do some TimeLord stuff to repatch everything round to get a scart feed into the mixin desk. the webcast hq stream (who's bitbucket didya have to suck to get that btw....nothing I could do would make it give me owt but the 20kb) may actually be better cos many stations on sky are not much better than shoutcast.
Sadly Gentlemen, funding prevents oxegen, and even if funding were forthcoming, there's every chance i'd be too sore and miserable to go. Besides....you dunno what I'm like at gigs.....until the people I came to see come on, I'm like a puritan, obeying all the rules and staying sober and out of trouble. Ten mins AFTER my chosen arist comes on I go into catch-up mode....kinda tortoise and hare....except that the tortoise is the sort of freak who gets REALLY high on music, and turns into the energizer bunny. But hey, I know you guys will shout bollox at then for me.....and maybe 2fm will be nice and broadcast so I can continue as virtual viking.
EDIT: speaking of which I washed my getready tshirt specially for this weekend and proudly pinned my badge of honour upon it.

Everything's Gone Green was on the setlist with '??' after it, between Jetstream and WFTSC.
WIM was supposed to close the set.
They soundchecked 'em both. Sultan was at the soundcheck.
