It's a pub not sure how many it holds .... Saw Revenge there back in 92 so to me it's a sacred venue.

Didn't it sell out last time? Better get tickets I suppose - can you buy in advance?

I'll be there. Pissed out of my face as is usual on these occasions.

Remember everybody to avoid all the scum that frequents the other venues in ashton on weekend nights.

I shall be definately making the journey across the Peak district

That sounds sensible, you need a bit of a treat on your birthday, but a lot of people expect to hear the hits. Mind you Alex would have loved your Camden set last year!

any ticket info kids?

or do you reckon you can pay on the night?

I rang the Wichwood last night and they are not sure if it is going to be ticket or not yet ?I guesse it may be a little to soon. But he told me that you can buy tickets from Picadilly Box office (Manchester)

Tel 0161 832 1111

I am going to give them a try tomorrow and i can let you all know how i get on.But it may be the case that i will go out of my way to get these ticket, when the rest of you could still pay on the door on the night. So its not a case that they have released tickets yet !But you can order them for the night in question. Hope that this all makes sence ? :thumb:

Its within walking distance, Nesso. Don't know about this "easier to stay sober" thing.

Hoping to make a day of it with football pm and maybe some NO related shopping in Manc.

Try looking in the various towns around. Stalybridge, Denton, Audenshaw, Hyde etc etc. Theres some in romiley which arent that bad. And i'll be getting a taxi back there. Unless i stay on someone floor.

Get the train up and get some digs Old Monkey ! There will be some cheap ones round and about there for sure.I think that you could just turn up on the day and find some digs a couple of hours before the Gig. There will be a good few round there and it may be the case that alot of the small B and Bs will not be on the Internet. Me and my mate got some Digs 1 hr before the Gig started in Scunthorpe.

a work mate of mine as been this place a few times recently and told me there's a decent pub at front of venue. how about everyone meeting in the pub part first?. then we could invade the venue in a big crew,ha ha me and chic will be in there from 8 :thumb:

If anyone is in Manc in the afternoon before going over to Ashton, we will be in a pub somewhere in the centre.

Yep, i'll be in town. I need to get a new coat, and was planning on starting the drinking early. Any idea where though?

Yeh, Witchwood has a pub too, although when I mentioned it to a mate who lives in the area he replied "bring a bat"

:eek3:

now that pub sounds even more interesting, cant wait. god,i'd have loved a few round manc first but girlfriend's being a real star and driving us home. cant really drag her on a big all day pub session without a drink  so i'll just get pissed in the witchwood pub

I have surivived both Moon Under Water and the Witchwood pub!

I was thinking of Moon Under Water for the afternoon in Manc - there won't be any trouble on an afternoon unless you start it! It is cheap without been too grotty.

few months ago actually did a bit of a tour of the wetherspoons in manc centre.about 5 of them. the one on princess st was nicest, think its called waterhouse or something. i love wetherspoons double grey goose and pepsi, really cheap.if only i could be there

I dont know what any of you look like, the only person I've seen a pic of here is Ness so I've uploaded a pic of me. Dont forget to say hello

Just swap the cocktail for lager and the United top for an Adidas Superstar tee and there you go.

Call me Nick, or my luddite mates will rip the piss out of me!

Your love of cocktails like that is obviously why you fear being roughed up in Moon Under Water . You look youthful for your age, or is it an old photo?!

I am going to text Liam when we are settled in either Tom's Chop House or 2nd choice, Moon Under Water in the afternoon. Otherwise will see you in the Witchwood in the eve.

Chop House is a much better option. I'll probably be in town about 4ish, then onto Ashton by cab. I'm sure we'll all bump into each other at some point. Which reminds me, do Re:Order have a mosh pit?

The gig had everything..including lots of old people dancing badly.

Are you still going on about that!! :p Thought you looked fantastic up there on your own! Hope it didn't cost you too much to get back to Sale.

Great night overall and great to see all the Northern lot again, no hangover for me - being designated driver. Re:Order just get better - amazing set, Will gets increasingly Sumner-like each time and Ian's Hookyesque bass play was excellent as ever. Warren's Blue Monday backing vocal and little dance was the icing on the cake. Also got to draw attention to Alex's comment that Paul's hands on the keyboard looked amazingly like Gillian's - feel proud, very proud :D
