I like a challenge. I'll be the drunk one down the front shouting AGE OF CONSENT in between songs then......that will make it an authentic neworder gig ;)

A huge shouts out to Edd and Jake from the online contigency for coming it was really cool to see you guys again and thanks again for the beer! The people there were definately up for it and by the end the place was buzzing especially on LWTUA.

It was also good to meet a few new faces Daryl, Graham and also a guy whose name escapes me although I think it was Pete but he was wearing a red jacket, they seemed to enjoy it and said they would come again.

As for the setlist it all went a bit of a blur and I left mine at the venue! although it started with Decades and ended with LWTUA, Perfect X, Chosen Time, Hurt and EGG along with the hits were in there as well at some point. Apologies for being vague I'm sure one of the other guys will post the complete one up.

Cheers again W

Well i had a top night even if it was a bit of a poor turn out from this site ? But like the band and Edd said i think that it clashed with Hooky doing his D.J. stuff. Good set list and the best sound of The Perfect Kiss that i have heard the band do. It was good to get the small crowd going.I dont know were all the loony's came from during L.W.T.U.A but they enjoyed it. It was good to hear the oldish guy talking to Will as he said that he had been to watch both J.D. and N.O. both in Derby Donkeys years ago. I really hope you get a good turn out nexy time boys as you know you more than deserve it.:)

Gutted I couldnae make it - couldnae afford to go to see Hooky in Leicester either. Bah fucking humbug.

Glad to hear the show went well, one of these days I'll be at a Re : Order gig!!!

What a top night.

1st time for me seeing Re-Order and I was very impressed.

Some freakily impressive tunes.

Apologies for the lack of turn out from the locals...Not sure why.. but the Vic isnt that centrally located.

Highlights for me were a fantastic TPK,Sooner,Hurt and a mesmeric Chosen Time.

For me it brought back so many memories of gigs gone by..Last night I was at Leeds,Malvern,Sheffield etc.

The real highlight was that guy after the gig who was pestering the singer to play WIM...He even did a perfect rendition of the Barnsey rap..( albeit after 20 Stellas )..

Many thanks and good luck for future outings

A big thanks to Ed and Jake and the new recruits to the re: order legion: Daryl, Graham and Paul. I must mention the massive fella who did the John Barnes World In Motion rap for Will after the gig - seriously pissed but freakily good!

For those interested the set list was:

Decades Thieves Like Us Sooner Than You Think Perfect Kiss Ceremony Isolation Ultraviolence As It Is When It Was True Faith Regret Subculture Chosen Time Dreams Never End Bizarre Love Triangle The Village Hurt Blue Monday 586 Everything's Gone Green Temptation Love Will Tear Us Apart

Encore** Day of The Lords We All Stand Age Of Consent

** only kidding, we'd run out of time after LWTUA.

Hear hear. Top night, great to hear Chosen Time and Dreams Never End with Ians Hooky` vocals. I have to agree with Jake - if you havent seen these guys yet you dont know what you are missing - they just get better all the time. A great last New Order related night of the year, unless they do something really surprising!!

Oh yeah and Re:Order, did you get back down the southern end of the M1 before all that business in Hemel Hempstead kicked off?

Yeah we made it down fine there was an accident near Leicester and they closed the M1 but we got diverted which was fine....a good job we travelled back on the night really

Sound. I was concerned you might have spent hours sat next to a billion gallons of burning oil with the car stereo stuck on Rock The Shack and it may have put you off coming back up north. Have a good Christmas boys and looking forward to more of the same in 2006

Me and Paul got caught in the thickest fog i've ever seen on the way back,we were listening to The Cure's 'Faith' cd which added to the atmosphere.
