Just a bit of info on the venue for those that are going to this night. I went to see The JAM (tribute) at the Nags Head last Thursday night as i am working near there at the moment. The Venue is about 5 minutes walk out of the centre of town. It seemed to be a very buzzing place and was full on this night that i went. The bar staff were very friendly and there were lots of them so you got served quick as well. The Sound system was very good as well. It was quite a large place as well compared to were i have seen Re- Order play before i.e Derby............. If you are looking for a good drink befor you go in ? There is a Wetherspoons in town that is nice with the cheap drinks. But the pub for me as it as got the big screens for the football. The George Elliot Hotel in the Centre of town. I hope that you have a good night to all that are going.

:) :) :)

Will asked me to write a review.

They were fucking ace, played my favourite songs right now - Vanishing Point, Sunrise and Age of Consent, not to mention Ceremony. :D Good to meet Will and Ian again [31G!]. Yeah, cracking night, was already trashed by the time I got there and still now but I can type fine. Nuneaton was a shithole, I expected better from looking at their council site, and some chavvy girl grabbed my balls and said loose change or something when I was lost. Yes, I was weirded out by that too. The pub seemed ok, the 'promoter' [sp?] seemed to know what he was talking about and bought me a free pint . Much appreciated for the songs they played, t'was fucking ace, got a set list in my pocket somewhere but left my poster in the van! Pretended to fall asleep thinking I'd wake up near a cheap ride to the Brum, cheeky buggers dropped me off at a Holiday Inn, I couldn't get in, yet they still drove off! Dodgy security guard offered me a lift back for £30! Girl who worked there, said £17.50 for a taxi, yet when I paid it was £10. Shady bastard working security there! Overall, cracking night, wished there were more people there, if you ask Will, it was packed, :evil4: , but yeah, fucking ace, great to hear "rare songs", by that, I mean songs New Order barely play nowadays, and to meet with the band. And yes, the keyboardist does look like an 80s version of Tom Hanks!

Im fucking gutted !Sounds like you had a stonking time. I knew that it would be a cracking night as the venue is quite good.In a bit of a ruff area though as i am sure you found out. Any chance of a full set list. Im going to the next one i dont give a fuck how for it is away from me. It's just because they play songs that New Order have no intension of playing any more. As for the Noolers ?Was it just you Marc?

Set list, got one from the band :D

Sooner Than You Think [hadn't heard for ages so didn't recognize] Age of Consent Vanishing Point Regret Crystal The Perfect Kiss Ceremony Thieves Like Us True Faith Leave Me Alone Bizarre Love Triangle Your Silent Face Blue Monday 5 8 6 Everything's Gone Green/Temptation medley Sunrise New Dawn Fades Ultraviolence [not sure on this] LWTUA

I think the set list I got is more or less the order they played but I'm certain they changed some part of the order, like New Dawn Fades earlier.

define "cheeky buggers" ?

cheeky buggers coll. n. collective term for a group of people who drive nearly 50 miles out of their way at 1am and drop a dozy, pissed bloke off in his home town after he misses the last train...

?

otherwise, thanks for the review - just as we dictated it to you

Odd??? Perhaps we should've left you in Nuneaton where you could have had your 'loose change ' felt by some big hairy bastard.

Fair point. Ok, enough with the "rivalry", sorry if I insulted any of you. It was great that you gave me a lift to Birmingham, I would've been screwed [probably physically too :/]. And it was a cracking night. Hope to see you guys soon in the future.
