What bands would you like to see open up for New Order in October?? I know it's Maximo Park in London, but for the other dates...?

For me, I would really love either Bloc Party or ACR, as I love them both  :thumb:

well it would save worrying about missing the support band whilst in the bar!

canadian band stars would be v unlikely but v welcome, but how about someone like ladytron or broadcast?

Na none of the above. TV on the radio or The Rapture as support at Glasgow would be ace! Or maybe a local band like Errors.

I agree The Editors are very good and would be nice to see them do the support. Or Bloc Party or The Future Heads

Editors are hardly likely to be supporting New Order given that they're selling out venues at a much quicker rate than NO!

Three nights at the Brixton Academy this week all sold out within 2 days of tix going on sale. And I had to pay top dollar on Ebay for Sunday night's Glasgow Academy show. Which was ace. As usual.

i know that for Observer Monthly Magazine or the Guardian music supplement or something like that sat Hooky down in a room with Bloc Party chatting to them about various things. Seemed to not mind each other, although this was before Bloc Party turned mega miserable

I think I met someone associated to their band. It was at a drum n' bass rave and he said he was a roadie or something. He'd also been up 5 nights running because of speed or something.

That would have been on the 29th of April then. Do you remember what songs they played??? How long?? (you see, i'm trying to build an archive of live shows and information about Monaco shows is very scarce)
