Funny enough my mate went to the opening of a bar in Victoria Street the night before the New Order gig and the fella who plays Mickey Pearce was there. He said he was a boss laugh but he's gettin' on a bit these days!

No trilby but there's an idea for Blackpool to go with the Hawaiian shirts. Is right!

It's great; I love my bumfluff. Though the downside of being 17 is you're too young to register yourself for an Ebay account so I can't buy myself a ticket and mummy won't let me go if I'm coming back on a train during the night; never mind the fact I've got school the next day!
What time do such gigs normally finish and would I be able to get out by 11pm for the 2314 last train home?
would be my first No gig from outfront ![]()
been to loads of standing gigs tho - with crazier people than u lot for sure! ![]()
Jack, you'll have to arrive in a Hawaiian shirt so we'll be able to find you on the promenade! And we'll educate you in ways of aggressive dancing, getting pissed and doing roly-polys. ![]()
ok MONTMEISTER im pretty sure i've been pissed, and we had to do roly polys loads in P.E in primary school

I'd give yerself about at least 4 weeks. They are ten-a-penny in Blackpool, you can get a cheap one for about £15 a night. But the Blackpool Illuminations will be on between August 31st till October 31st,so expect a sudden influx nearer the time.

Ah right cool. Gonna have to leave it for a while anyway, cos the missus is debating whether to come to Blackpool for the night
My tickets were on the Mat when i got back today.
Bloody long wait though from ticket master ?![]()
So where are people staying in Blackpool? I've gone for the nod to history, and am staying at the Imperial Hotel, where JD played in 1979. Costing two arms and one leg though!
