Seriously Liam how the fuck did you find only closed bars in IRELAND. LOL

Sounds like you didn't have too great a time. I THINK I look forward to reading it.

I thought an IRISH crowd would have been well up for it?

You wish. There's some crackin' ones of you :evil4:

I need a spare hour or so to upload them. And some need editing from where I had the camera upside down   Pissed ?? Me ?? Never :skeptic:

Can i just say that I have written proof from Dave Legge that he would get me a pint at electric picnic. Yet there was no pint forthcoming...

Bournemouth then?

Saying that, Leggy gets my vote for man of the match. He spent the entire gig with his back to the actual gig just watching the crowd.

Also, special mention for Snoopy and his "Uncle Liam makes me piss myself" comment and his ATR esque sideburns.

Erm... What makes you think that?

Also, did anyone see the emo kid moshing away? I didnt know whether to laugh or cry? Had to go up to him and inform him that the gig, in fact, was not Panic At The Disco.

They wern't too bad actually - the moshing part was tiny (after Al departed anyway:evil4: ) but it was more 'different' than 'bad' - fairly typical Irish pissed crowd - they certainly enjoyed the gig - in general seemed to be a lot more into NO than at Oxegen last year

In fairness, the Festival as a whole had a lot better crowd than Oxegen last year. Read the reviews in the Oirish press the next day too and I think they'd described Oxegen as being 'teen friendly' in relation to Electric Picnic.

Electric Picnic is a boutique festival for the more mature crowd. Couldn't see any though….

Conrad – I watched the video you sent me this morning of the ignominy that was the Hot Press interview with New Order. It actually seems worse now than it did on Saturday. The band were in top form, or as top as they could possible have been considering the questions they were fielding.

The Hot Press interviewer did a reasonable job although spent far too long banging on to the nth degree about how amazing it was that NO were still on the go and how he’d bet they had never thought they would last this long, etc. Listening to him, you would think they should have packed it in there and then.

The worst part was when the questions were opened up to the floor – some arsehole asked NO if they would ever collaborate with PSB again. The restraint that Bernard exercised at that point must have been of epic proportions, but he did manage to enlighten the irreverent swine as diplomatically as possible.

Words fail me when it comes to the guy who asked them about the demise of Cliff Richard….It was beginning to feel like New Order’s fifth column were out in force that day.

I will say this though, for those of you who maintain that Bernard hasn’t aged well due to the excesses of his lifestyle, I beg to differ; I sat just in front of him for the interview and I can tell you unequivocally that the man has still got it. :thumb:

He does look worse on stage to be fair.Looks younger etc. when he's not having to exert himself maybe?

We can all look older and knackered when we are working hard

I don't see what the problem is..I would love to see that collab again!

Think you've missed the point, Vincenzo.

Someone asked if New Order would ever collaborate with the PSBs again.

In my defence, I did offer, dispite the risk that I would have got a can of warm shaken up Fosters in return :spit:

Bournemouth it is :thumb:

Cracking photo's! Recognise most, I'm assuming the blonde girl is Angel With a Catapult, the guy in the Neworderonline t-shirt is Cuana-D, and was Chant there?

Anybody else from this site on the photo's?

Nosey no, Curious yes!

Names have been ommitted to protect the guilty. :evil4:

But you're right with Angel and Cuana-D. :)

The big pissed fella with bottles of white wine sticking out of every pocket is Al.

Love the picture of Al with a bottle hanging out of every pocket.. Definitely a well planned out festival outfit... Reminded me of those tequila girls.. all he needed was a sash of glasses and the outfit would have been complete.

By the way Uncle Liam is now officially my favourite person in the world.

(He managed to get me a ticket for The Killers when it had already sold out ) :thumb:

Of course, it hadnt actually sold out. You just have to know where to look.

£29 English Pounds that owe me now. Although I must say the fact that you were in bed and didnt try to get tickets yourself does tempt me to give them to someone else who did try.

But that wouldnt be fair now would it? Your round as well.

Inflatable friend makes an appearance in this video - its Crystal - 1st song at the gig - I just uploaded it to youTube. Recorded on my phone - so quality is crap, but you get the idea anyway:thumb: Crystal
