I was interviewed after being thrown out for taping it, the guy said it was for a new dvd :D
Both nights were filmed, and Barney wore the same T-Shirt (with bird shit on the shoulder!). The plan is surely to mix the best of the performances from the two nights into one uber-gig.
That probably explains why the order of the set list was mixed about a bit between the two nights to get some performances of different songs before they get all sweaty
