Just wanted to let Julio know that in BH Bernard managed an 'obrigado' for the crowd after Crystal, their opening song. He kind of screwed up the pronunciation of Belo Horizonte but at least he had a go and I'm not one for criticising Portuguese pronunciation as I am dreadful at it myself.
The gig was fantastic, although the weather was crap and some of the crowd deserted the venue before and during the gig (New Order were closing a festival called 'Pop rock Brasil'). Loved hearing the newer stuff and they looked great on stage. Having never seen them live (and coming from Australia I never thought I would, least of all in BH) I can only imagine that Peter Hooks' moves are standard but impressive nonetheless. Sorry I have no photos as my partner's phone was stolen that night (I think we were the obvious gringos!). But all is forgiven for having seen a great show.
