Hope everyone who went to South America and saw the real New Order had a good time but just to let you all know the fake New Order have a few gigs of their own coming up in December, maybe not quite on the same scale as the real thing but still!

They are: 01st Dec - The Citadel, St Helens - with The Clone Roses 08th Dec - The Good Ship, Kilburn. 16th Dec - Stavka, Glasgow.

Hope to see a few familiar faces and maybe a few new convertees from Blue Saturday.

And of course... me.

I'll do Londinium. Tis Gordie's 40th that week too so he should be up as well..

Given due consideration to Glasgee too.

regarding the clone roses gig tonight: word is that all 300 tickets have been sold so if anyone's thinking of turning up 'on spec' it would be a good idea to give the venue a call first.

err sorry mate but you have the wrong day it was yesterday. Hope you get to read this before you venture over there I think you may have had trouble getting in anyway as it was a sell out.....apparently St Helens is the Clone Roses home town. I'm sure the website will be updated in due course with the setlist details cause I can't remember it!!

I'll try to make the London gig, along with camera, but it's my work Christmas 'do' that evening - I'm trying to get out of it...

Hi warren. ill be there at kilburn. Are you doin a longer set as you are not supportin anyone. Also what time do you think you will finise. from kenny

Any idea what time you good people will be on stage.

Or...to rephrase slightly...will I be able to get the train back home after?

Hey Everyone, I'm not actually sure what time we are on but suffice to say we will be playing a fairly decent length set, there is a band on before us though. To my knowledge bands don't play on till the early hours so you should be able to get your train. I'm guessing but I don't think we will playing any later than 11.30. I will post when I know more.

I think I've persuaded Tricia to come along too - will be good to see you all again. :thumb:

Not sure what time I'm hitting Kilburn but will be in Central London straight from work anyways. No point in going home first. I'll have a couple of workmates with me anyhoo.

One of the BEST nights i've had in a very long time! Re:Order were amazing!

Will, I love you loads for many reasons, thanks for Leave Me Alone and Sunrise! Very special moments that will stay with me forever (who needs the 80s?)You were all totally brilliant and to perfection. What more can I ask from a fellow gooner?

Best moment (apart from the personal ones) without doubt, members of Digital taking to the floor for Regret! and of course good old Jim singing Love Vigilantes and Steve (Wolfram) singing a few lines during Sunrise (London Order wrecked that stage)

To Ness (my lesbo lover), Greggy, Lunatic Fridge (top geezer for Spurs), Jarv (ha, ha, ha) and your good lady for the evening, Don (do i really have to say?), Alan, Will (and the rest of the band- sort it out), Steve (wolf) arggghhhhh, Jim and the other dude from Digital- you were pure class! London Order DO it better and that's just a pure fact! Sorry if i missed anyone. Gutted Leggy D, Milkys and BA never made it. Just remembered Liam- you right wing twat! Lol

Thanks for such an amazing night all of you. Have a brilliant Christmas!:love2: :love2: :love2: :love2: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

:edit: just remembered the most important memory- London Order screaming "we're here to stay", during here to stay, at Daddy Al Jarvis from the dance floor as he looked adoringly over us from the balcony, giving us a knowing finger point back!

A top, top night despite being in work today at 8am and having 2hrs sleep - Night Buses LOL! :abovelol: Worth it though to see a great set from Re:Order who did justice to many of NO's top tunes - Age Of Consent, Sunrise, EGG, BLT, Here To Stay etc. and nice to catch up with some old and new faces from this year's gigs and Blue Saturday. Thanks to Al Jarvo and Lunatic Fringe for getting me a beer in addition to Ness, Bonzette, Don, Uncle Liam, Warren and Will from Re:Order, Jim from Digital and everyone else I met, danced and had some good banter with during the night. Here's to the next meet up and have a Happy Xmas/New Year everyone. Cheers!:thumb:

Twas a great night - sore feet from too much dancing (thanks Steve!)

Re:Order were as excellent as always. Sunrise and Here to Stay were the icing on the cake. Jim Riley's guest appearance was something to behold.

Lovely to see everyone, it was a mad night!

Bonz - I'm intrigued by your secret individual messages for everyone! I understand mine so that's OK  Lovely boots!

Will, Ian, Waren & Paul, thanks again for a great night. Great fun as per usual and thanks for the song. Me and Jon had a top time. Left at midnight, home at 2am after most of it walking. Well worth it though. Cheers! :thumb:

Lovely to see the London order out in force: cuddly Greg & his lovely Ness, Don on top form as per usual, the Big Reverand Al Jarvis, Gordie(mind those fucking glasses for fucks sake), Wolfram the prize fighter(I have now regained equilibrium thank you), Bonzette, Lunatic, Liam et all. What a luverly bunch!

But where was the Johnny come lately Gilestar?? Delicately ironing the golden scarf perhaps?? Merry Xmas to you all. :xmas: See you in 2 007.

and for those of you who haven't seen re : order yet, PULL YOUR FUCKING FINGER OUT!!!!

Gutted I had to miss it :(

Got some right bastard virus and it's been in the balance all week whether I was going to make my Aussie flight today. :\ohwell:

Still not sure I should be going :\ohwell:

I'm expecting a phone call from the Tropical Disease clinic Doctor on Monday with some blood test results and the conversation is going to be interesting if he wants me to come in again :brow:

Anyway, sound just like the night I was expecting it to be so I'm looking forward to a rematch early next year. :thumb:

And, Liam... I WILL get you that beer

both additions were on the fly and the sunrise slot was genuinely opened up to audience requests.

ta all for coming and the kind comments - one of our favourite nights this year. thanks especially to all those who joined in in whatever capacity: steve for helping out on lyrics, mike and the missing drumstick, the rowdy vocal support and the dodgy dancers and also to jon and jim for kicking it all of and the obvious contributions...

some of jim's snap decisions are on our gig page here

if anybody has any other media - we'd welcome it at thieveslikeusland

cheers folks

Looking at the gig list for next year, any reason for Sunday gigs? Increase the chances of a sober audience perhaps?

Dave,

you will get me that drink.

Anyway, storming night all round. Much better than any New Order gig i've seen this year, even though i only caught about five songs.

Cracking night as well. Wasnt planning on staying out that long but a great night ensued. Gordie was hammered, so much so i'm not sure he was able to talk at the end of the night. Nice to see the usual crew, sans Rutter.

I will confirm the following things:

1- Yes i did actually buy a round. Either Greg or Al will confirm this.

2- I was promised Xmas cards of Emily and Ness.

Cheers to the band for sorting me out with guestlist, even though the cunt of a bouncer still wanted me to pay.

On evidence of last friday, i'll probably come down for Re Order in London Again.

"Glasgee"?!!!!! Who in god's name uses the word "Glasgee"? Glesga, is the local pronunciation. "Glasgee" sounds like a made up word for soft English poofs.

Good luck with the gig, Stavka's a great bar run by nice people. Cannae attend due to other plans.
