I'm sure it was about 42 notes. I ordered two tickets from Ticketshite and with all the extras they chuck on it came to about £98.
it was £42, and it'll be more this year. closer to £50 i reckon.
Charlatans just confirmed as well.

You'd have to say that it'll be a Stone Roses heavy set. Wouldnt surprise me to see Mani play a few songs with him. Or Noel Gallagher come out and Do "Keep What Ya Got" like they did in 04.
You're right there. The MEN gig was pretty good - although the sound was a bit iffy at times.
Just got an e-mail update.Tickets available from TICKETBASTARD or SEE-TICKETS Friday 12th from 9am.
Also on SATURDAY 13th,Andy Rourke's turning up at Cathedral Gardens hoping to break a world record in the largest number of buskers,so ANY VOLUNTEERS? I'm going to bring my spoons.![]()

Have you heard Golden Greats, Al? Superb album from start to finish. Granted, his other albums are a bit patchy with the only the odd flash of genius but GG is class from start to finish I reckon ![]()

Not necessarily a bad thing that is it, Tim? Goes against what punk is all about passing the X Factor audition. But I'll admit getting Brown on there to sing the theme from The Bodyguard would make excellent telly ![]()

LOL!
I'd even pay good money to vote for Ian Brown if he did that one - perhaps they could do Celebrity X-Factor, then again don't go there

Like I said, he's got a few standout tunes. Golden Gaze sits happily in my 25 most played tracks on me iPod. An absolute classic track. However, the vocal you hear on vinyl ain't nish like it sounds when he attempts it live.
Still, it's all in the charm, I guess.
Right, I'm in for Mancland. Just booked a train up on the Friday arvo cos the Mighty 'Ats are Oop Norf on the Saturday too so might as well make a weekender of it!
Will be good to see some of you cnuts again! ![]()
Oooh, exciting! Am I safe to assume it won't sell out again, or at least not for a few weeks???

Dunno but we've got the same idea, I can't be arsed parting with £50 or thereabouts right at this moment in time. Would prefer to snag a ticket closer to the gig.
It'll sell out tomorrow lunchtime then.

Didn't Ian Brown sell that place out on his own last year??!

I'm sorry, but there's limits. Barney can't sing, gratis, but he's Pava-fcuking-rotti when lined up against Brown.
And Brown just ain't got the material. Few standout tunes, but he'll never compete with his Roses stuff.
I agree he'll never match his Roses stuff. That's a tall order. And he is a shite singer live. But he's class in a glass just for his Roses stuff. Some of his solo stuff is tops, but not much,Golden Gaze,The fisherman,F.E.A.R I rate. However I'm on nights so I'll miss this one aswell.Effin typical.Really like the look of this line up an all.
Undecided at the moment. The lineup holds more interest for me this year. Last time it was 808,Doves and NO. I doubt NO will do this one but I'd defo be up for it if they did.

Just you, or the rest of your boys?

Finally got around to ordering my ticket 20 minutes ago and all 3 online sellers seem to be completely sold out of Standing. There's a fair amount of seating left but what's the point of that eh.
Any NOOLer got a spare Standing they'd be interested in parting with? I can sort you out with the cash pronto.
It didn't sell out this quickly last year!
I totally forgot. Didn't think it would sell out.
Oops! Roy's gonna batter me.
(They'll be on ebay tonight, Shirley?)

Really looking forward to this.
Now where to meet up...
