On Thursday May 31st Roger Lyon's band 'Circus Girls' are playing the Red Banana club in London.

Maybe a nice little surprise in store for NO fans too - if we're lucky...

If it's Roger Lyons' band, how many autocues does it include?

Hey look, the septic Kershaw!

There won't be any autocues if Bernard isn't singing......

That's the date before "Versus Cancer", so I might well be up for that! :)

Was just before I was setting off for Monaco, so misread it..!

Dunno what I'm doing towards the end of May, but I'll definitely keep it in mind! :smoking:

Appears to be a club night at The End.

Lovely venue, can't imagine where they'd stick a band in there though?

Chemicals at the Roundhouse same night, mind - straight choice between saying hello to Roger or to Mr Liddle!

True, but aren't you seeing the Chemicals twice this year already? If it doesn't coincide with being in Telford, I'll be at the Red Banana.

I shall be doing the Circus Girls (oooer missus!) gig rather than the Chems, seen the Chems before and want to catch up with Roger anyway on some techy stuff for Digital he's been helping me with.

Are you my Mum?

Roger can have a sticky for being a top lad.

And please, I want no puns about sticky and the red banana picture that Jarvo has supplied.....I have a wife you know

I get that from my work colleagues, and so my boss warned me (yes, warned me!) to not mention taking time off for a New Order gig, but instead just say that I was taking annual leave and leave it at that!!!

I was shellshocked (excuse the pun!) to say the least! :smoking:

I got the same. Had to start coming up with alternative explanations, and for Bournemouth last year had to leave at the crack of dawn to get to work rather than taking a second day off!

Yup, my alternative explanation is currently researching my family tree. I am actually going to be doing some of that this year - Norfolk/Suffolk/Cornwall - the fact that they're also coastal resorts is a bonus! :thumb:

Presumably you'll be sacked on the spot, Nick, if you mention you're going to see the Chemical Brothers in Amsterdam? :eek3:

Nah, they know I like going to Amsterdam, or I could lie and say that I've got some Dutch relatives!

Anyone doing this tonight? Rog left a voice message for me yesterday but I'm at the Chems instead.

JG thought they might be doing a late one though - any truth in that? In which case I could be back Up West if needs be.

I'll be there, and it could turn out that the rest of Digital are there as well.

Well we would have been had alcohol not intervened! Hope it was a good night, I'm sat here with about 14 different hangovers now. Whisky should be banned. :banghead:

Talking of hangovers,

I went to the Kevin Sampson reading at boogaloo last night, he finally comes on stage at 10.30ish reads 3 words before saying he is too pissed and leaves the stage.
