our only london gig for a while.

as ever, there's the threat that smyths fans might snap up all the tickets so here's a link or two if anyone wants to get in early: WeGotTickets or TicketWeb

...and before you ask - we've never had morrissey 'in the ring' before.

We have a leeds date on 5th July @ The Irish Centre with our tribute pals The Smyths. We were down to play the New Roscoe but this got postponed because this is a better venue apparently.

Excuse the shameless plugging but if you want a list of upcoming gigs there is always our trusty website or myspace.

I will try to get to this, the only fly in the ointment is that i have to be up at about 4 the next day to go to the grand prix. But im not driving, so i will maybe just take the pain.

I´ll be there at Dingwalls. Saw the real Order NYC 05 and that´s probably the last if they have split. So Re:Order will be interesting. Any change of Hooky as special guest?

A great gig this evening, shame some people couldn't make it, but it was well attended nonetheless. Re:Order were very good as usual and there are pics to come soon, and if the guys are okay with me posting it, footage of an excellent rendition of 'Ceremony'. Thanks to Re:Order for another great performance - looking forward to the next one.

Hope you had a great birthday Jem :) x

This is Missy Jem reporting from Hotel Bonz. We had a fantastic night last night. Re:order were fantastic and they played True Faith and Ceremony - woo hoo!

I want to thank Chris for his fantastic present - a vintage 1963 cd. And to Will for the re:order t-shirt with the very cheeky message that I've only just noticed.

Oh and to Leggy D for nicking the Re:order poster and getting the band to sign it.

Great seeing everybody, roll on August 3rd!

Oh, the shame. Boldly strolled into a 10am meeting at, er, 10.20 this morning.

Lovely to see everyone again.

I've got a setlist in my pocket - did they really play 5-8-6?!

I'm still drunk as a skunk.

Yes, I'm feeling a bit jaded too Al!

Enjoyed catching up with so many lovely friends - even if we do only meet occasionally it was great to see so many of us together - where would we be nowadays with out Re:Order??

They were great as always. Nice to see they are attracting a few groupies (besides us).

Hope the birthday girl and boy both enjoyed themselves.

Had a great time at Dingwalls. Re:Order were superb. Really got my order fix. Ceremony was rocking and nice to hear Leave me alone. Danced like a berserk to Temptation. Saw some faces I saw at TGI's in New York. Excellent night out.

Thanks to everybody who came last night it means heaps to me and the others, we really appreciate it! :thumb: :thumb:

Dingwalls is a great venue with lots of history and it's the first time me (or the band) has played there so it's good that it was a success. Hopefully, us and the Smyths will get booked again for a repeat performance.

Happy Birthday Jem and I think it was Don's as well....was that why we played Round & Round. If it was Don's birthday happy birthday as well mate.

Time to do it all again now in Letchworth.

Just been for a coupla hairs of the dog with Mike.

Phoned up at 8.30, 90 mins after I should have started and said I'd missed my alarm and had only just woken up. Which wasn't really a lie, actually :spit:

They told me not to worry and to come in for a 3pm-11pm shift.

Was woken up as fresh as a daisy this morning around 7am. No. It WASN'T 'Chemical' Al. Felt absolutely fine today, even though carried on drinking for a bit when I got home and went back to work. Cheers to whoever it was that warned me about the :viking: :barf: so I didn't slip in it while taking pics - can't remember who it was, but 'top geezer'. Photos to come soon - the 'beforehand' and the gig. In the meantime, I'm sure the lads won't mind me posting the video of 'Ceremony'. Sorry, the quality is a bit crap, due to Microsoft compression, but if the band want the *excellent* quality uncompressed original burned on CD, then they know where to find me. The last four seconds of the song is missing as the card memory ran out, but you'll get the idea. Free P&P lads, but guest list next time... (yeah, cheeky f**ker, I know). Great to see everyone last night and thanks to all (especially Jem & Ems - the peaNUT variety in the yellow packets)for making it another great evening. Please see my 'Behind Closed Doors' thread about another possible meet up in two weeks.

EDIT: right, the site is being a pain at the moment and throwing up errors, so I'll post the video as soon as all is right with the world again!

Unfortunately, no crazy tales from Letchworth, though seeing Andy gradually remember bits of the night before was worth the admission price alone... Top stuff from Re: Order as always, although the crowd's lack of energy prompted a PFD reference from Will... Good night though, nice to see Nick and Andy and great to chat to the band afterwards :thumb: I still can't quite believe I've been to a gig in Letchworth... :nonono:

Well, what a superb couple of gigs they were - Dingwalls had more of a crowd atmosphere to it, but Letchworth certainly seems to have won over a few Smyths fans out there (I was chatting to quite a few after the gig and at the train station)!

I don't know how I managed to make it to Letchworth after the Dingwalls drinking session (and lack of sleep the night before), but somehow I did, and I'm glad I did - Re:Order (and The Smyths) were worth it!

Incidently, found this whilst Googling:

"Regret was a big favourite and it was either during Cermony or Blue Monday that I noticed two lads who apparently follow Re:Order everywhere. They were doing this dance which basically consisted of marching on the spot with arms going like walkers competing in the Olympics. It was silly and it was genius and has been added to the dance repartee of my fleet of foot friends."

incidently/co-incidently : that review is from a gig two years ago today. did you google re: order or the date? set-list hasn't changed much... thanks go out to nick, snorri and andy for making it out to letchworth (so good they named it once) and for all the kind words. I spoke to andy about the dingwalls night and he said he couldn't remember a single thing - I think that's post traumatic gig disorder.
