Good job I've got a wedding on that day (the UK contingent of the Vegas wedding I've just been to)...! :)

Getting train to Manc on the Sunday now (anyway) for the Monaco gig.

Got the St Albans gig to look forward to in the meantime... :smoking:

apologies. flagged it up within minutes of getting the word from the promoter.

I find it a little spurious that even though they claim they were handed a 'blank diary' they had our details and knew to get in touch with us to pull it.

.....hmmm, bunts

Just got my ticket for St Albans - any thoughts on a pre-gig meet yet? Was contemplating heading down for the footie in the afternoon as well if anyone else fancies it...

Because of this glut of gigs, the re:arranged date at the New Roscoe in Leeds with Joy Re:vision has been put back 'til 2008

I've heard your planning St Albans in Oct and somewhere the night before Plan K (14 Dec - 50th gig?) any details?

Yup, I'll be at both!

Details here, btw...

Forthcoming gigs:

Re:Order's Festive Fifty, London 14th December 07 The Wedgewood Rooms, Portsmouth 16th Nov 07 The Witchwood, Ashton-Under-Lyne 27th Octobe 07 The Horn, St Albans 13th October 07 Hotel California, Tranmere 29th September 07 Soundhouse, Bolton 8th September 07

Well, now that Monaco is the day after The Witchwood, might make it a long weekend and go to the Witchwood as well! :smoking:

(Oh, btw, the exact London venue is still TBC for 14th December)

Last train from St Albans to Kings Cross Thameslink is 12:18am, arrives in Kings Cross at 12:52am.

There should be a nightbus from Kings Cross to Victoria.

Oh, btw, tickets for the St Albans gig are now on Ticketweb (box office collection).

Bloody public transport in this country... :banghead: The last direct train from St Albans to Watford leaves about 3 minutes after the gig starts... :nonono:

Yup, that sounds like public transport in Hertfordshire, i.e. shite!

Myself, I'm grabbing a taxi back to Welwyn Garden City... :dead:

Oh, and Dave, wouldn't recommend the benches in St Albans... :p

I'm staying @ the Castlefield Hotel for the Monaco gig. Stayed there before and it's very good & central to Manchester City Centre so may be worth a look. Cheers!:thumb:

Already had me digs booked for Ashton for 27th so this late cancellation is a real pisser.

If anyone's got a spare ticket for Arcade Fire for MEN please PM me.

Where's the meet up in Manc? I'm up for that instead.

Should arrive by about 6'ish - lots of boozers in St Albans, but haven't been there drinking in a long time, so couldn't vouch for any of them being any good! :)

Should be down around 6:30/7pm looking forward to it!:thumb:

Should bowl up around 8'ish.

Few big 'high street' boozers going up the main schlep towards Harpenden or lots of little old skool pubs closer to the Cathedral.

Google the 'Cross Keys'. That's as good a locale as any - right at the bottom of the High Street and not too far from the mainline station. It might be a Wetherspoons boozer though, not sure, but it's perfectly placed as a base camp to launch an assault elsewhere.

Given that the venue is right next to the train Station I wouldn't bother going much further than that

It's a long walk up Victoria St to the High St and no matter how posh St Albans thinks it is, the High St on a Saturday night is your typical packed chain bars with arsehole bouncers and even bigger arsehole pissed 20 year old mobs. The football and rugby won't make it any more plesent up there.
