So, who's going?

And where's the meet up? I've got a couple of friends coming down from Leicestershire who are staying in Drury Lane so was thinking Covent Garden would be good for a 5 min walk to Traf Sq.

And, err, who's got a spare ticket :love2: (I'm willing to pocket out some hard earned cash)

Oi you, where were my 3 rings to let me know you were home safe :nono:

They're playing in Aintree on the 9th December. Think it's a Sunday.

I might have a go at that.

In the light of no other suggestions how about Chandos?

As good as anywhere - it's big enough and close.

Is that cos the landlord is a member of the London Leeds Supporters club?! :skeptic:

Or was five years ago?

I haven't got a ticket in front of me but can we get into the Chandos? Is that area gonna be cordoned off?

It's well close to the do itself though, int'it. Might be proper chocker.

Cordon looks to be fairly small. Doubt they'll close Charing X Rd / St Martins Lane.

Pub might be chocker but then anywhere us lot turn up will be :spit:

I'll steer the out of towners there from Cov Garden.

I now probably don't need the ticket I asked for at the top - been blown out

But one of the Leicester lads might have a spare pair so I'd suggest anyone without a ticket may as well come along for a pint and you might get lucky.

How are they gonna keep people without tickets out?

Have they put a wall around Trafalger Square?

How many people will get in?

Can't you just stand outside and listen?

There's a billion and one boozers within 10mins walk of there though. No point going to the one next door to the venue itself.

Where were you gonna drink in Covent Garden? I'd rather go there than somewhere obvious.

Chem Bros forum are all meeting in the Montague Pyke.

The Roundhouse in Covent Garden. That's where me and Ness will be starting out!

Is the Roadhouse not open on Sunday arvos! :food:

The Cove

One of the Leicester lads has a thing about the fact that you can order at the bar from the West Cornwall Pasty place downstairs :food:

I won't be in London till mid-arvo anyways. Will bell when I know what I'm doing.

That Cove place don't half look like the old Punch & Judy - that's not gone now, has it?

Nah, there's three of them with a Balcony.

Punch & Judy is the big one facing the street theatre and at one side is The Cove and the other side is I think Loop, above a pizza place.

Soooperb turnout from the NOOLers.

Just how good was that?!

No, seriously, how good was it? Have just woken up and can't even feel my teeth so fcut if I can remember how good the gig was.

That big fcuking Jock - he's got an awful lot to answer for! :nonono:

Wow - what happened there?

What an amazing and special night. How surreal to dance around Trafalgar Square on a Sunday night? One of the best gigs I have ever been to and a night I shall never, ever forget.

I've seen some states in my days. But nothing compares to the mess people were in last night! I've never seen everyone so mangled! It was just so, so, so funny!

Al - actually stopped talking - a first!

Leggy - kept going on about my ex husband - despite the fact I have NEVER been married. Oh, and he kept asking me who i was during the gig as he kept forgetting my name!

Greg - some mental dance moves there mate! How's those twinkly fingers?

Nick King - laughing, smoking and just being dead cool! And yeah - many thanks to you and Al for standing with all those people for an hour to get us all a crate of beer to share - nice touch, and how dangerous was it going in for a beer when you returned? Savages!

Gordie - awww....taught me everything i needed to know about fishing. Don't remember how to fillet a fish though! You are by far the most sensible one of us all!

Nessy - shame you left before the Chems hit the stage. They were so brilliant. I loved our day together yesterday. You do make me laugh......how's things on the stalker front? Joe and I will be over soon. X

Mrs Milky - where did you go woman? Have you remembered to feed the fish?

Don - I need no words. We didn't talk once about football!

Hacienda - innit? Successfully missed our last tube home and got the night bus back to Finchley/ Barnet. Thanks for looking after me, geezer.

Burt - fantastic!

Sarah - i'm glad you had a good time and loved everyone.

Not one to gossip - but did anyone see Ally walking off in the distance with my cousin - DESPITE a stern warning from me?

Where are you fucker? I'm waiting!

Best moment of the night was, of course, Temptation which sent us all loopy! Amazing looking up at the London sky, bottles of Becks in hand and everything so crystal clear!

I love you lot............loads!

We had to buy a whole CRATE (24 bottles) just to make our stay there worthwhile!!!

It was like feeding the five thousand!

Just remembered that - considering the gig was sponsered by a beer company (Becks), you'd have thought they would have been interested in selling lots of beer - especially considering it was a free concert!

Oh what a night. Glad my meeting at 9am went well today; the first thing the chap said was 'you look fucked'.

Piccies to follow. Here's a quick test one of Lily Allen running scared from a loud chant of 'NU ORDAHHH'

Big thanks to the lovely Ness for acquiring me a ticket at the last second, and for Jem and Al to somehow let me know.

to get the full atmosphere you need a crate of beer in plastic bottles, a pair of 3D glasses, and a load of white stuff.

Koko tickets for the Electric Proms on sale at midday today.

Apparently they're defo gonna have Beth Orton and Willy Mason with them and some newspaper's reported that Kele from Bloc Party and Noel Gallagher will also sing live with the Chems.

Well, gets their faces on the TV, dunnit?

Can you FUCK. This camera lies all over the place. Its got a sunshine mode on it that could make a nuclear fallout on Brighton beach look like a game of volleyball. Someone even took a pic of me t'other day with it, and I didnt look fucked.

£40 a day hire charge.

They only showed three songs. Was like the Channel 4 coverage of the Wireless festival. Too many people talking about whats going to happen, rather than showing the action. This arty farty director of ICA was just rabbitting on for ages about design concepts, for far too long. Calvin Harris almost got more coverage.

only showed about 10 minutes actual gig footage in the whole programme!! :nonono:
