Bizarrely, I am considering that one, possibly tying it with an Ian Brown gig (on either Friday or Saturday), followed by Crispy Ambulance on the Saturday afternoon... Got to ponder that one... :)

Good points - can't remember him doing the dance when I last saw him DJ (think it was in 2001 - when him and Hooky were DJ'ing with the Pet Shop Boys)...

its true i saw him dj tonight. but he was wearing his glasses and slippers and had a bru in his hand,he didnt seem to know what was going on at the start,honestly

I have the biggest lump on my head from where Jem launched herself on me last night, when I was laying down on the sofa in the club.

Barney kissed me twice, I gave him my Tony Wilson badge, Jem gave him a Barney's Angels badge.

I lost my phone. Jem has somehow managed to not lose her camera, but just the memory card with all the photos on it.

Cracking night.

Monty ran everybody home and we got pulled over by the Police for driving the wrong way down a one way street, directed by Banshee - on his street! Then he surpassed himself by offering us all beers from his fridge while the coppers were breathalysing him!!!

We were planning to go ice skating today but it's persisting it down.

Bernard did have a bodyguard or at least some bloke who was supposed to be his bodyguard, who wasn't about when he had finished his set... So I voulentered
and chatted to Bernard while moving people back after they had had their pictures taken and ushered along the next ones who were waiting. gave me a great excuse to keep putting my arms around him... alas the bodyguard fella did turn up eventually.

o no,i actually appear in some photos then they get lost was nice to see monty,jem,liam,bonz,sandra,kersie,jert,minx and others. o and bernard of course.seem to recall the first track he did stopped half way through,or maybe i dreamt that. rough as hell today.bloody great night,many beers,lots of drunk dancing.i dont recall offering beers outside my house.was i offering the cops any??

What a fab night! Joined by Jemmie,Bonzer,Sandra,Minxie,The Banshee,Jert & Claire,and Uncle Liam. Top techno tunes plus a bit of old school,bit o' 808 State,and quite a bit of Kraftwerk.Heard some fab toons I've never heard before sounding distinctly like Barney,and on asking him later,at least the one he played after IGGY's The Passenger was in fact...BAD LIEUTENANT! Fooking brilliant.This is definitely worth watching out for. A little tension later..ahem..I dropped everyone off,but at corner of Banshee's street,and cop car hovering round me.Thought I was edging over the corner,so I ahem turned round the corner.OOPS One way Street."Can you breathe into this please?" "What's this?" "It's a bag that tells you you've had too much to drink" "Oh aye I used to be married to her".

What did Barney play?

Lot of tunes I didn't know,but ones I did remember were Iggy Pop's THE PASSENGER,Kraftwerk's TOUR DE FRANCE and THE ROBOTS,808 State's PACIFIC STATE,and some Bad Lieutenant! Which was brilliant I may add.
