I'm off to Leeds tonight. According to the New Roscoe website doors don't open until 8pm, my train gets into Leeds about 7pm and hopefully my googlemap instructions will do the rest. Couldn't find anyone to acompany me tonight so if you see an unshaven 19 year old with fairly long dark hair in a Kraftwerk t-shirt, please come over and say hello.

JD Setlist included a couple of songs off Substance which I couldn't name off the top of my head, Shadowplay, Atmosphere (worth the admission price alone), Heart and Soul, Decades and the inevitable LWTUA (though fortunately without Barney's "COME ON" during the chorus). NO played Love Vigilantes, thieves like us, TPK, Crystal, Age of Consent, Regret, Vanishing Point, True Faith, BLT, Blue Monday ("You'll get Blue Monday and you'll like it" ), Everything's gone green and an encore of Ceremony and Temptation.

Thank god there was a half midnight train back to York as they were on from just after nine to almost half eleven. They were absolutely sensational and pretty authentic, though the Abbot Ale was crap even if it was nice to be able to drink out of a glass glass at a gig. Took my shirt off and still got absolutely saturated it was so hot/good I couldn't stop moving.

Ideally would have also liked to hear Leave me Alone, All the Way and Run but one song off Technique and AoC is still more than the real thing would have done in the few years before splitting up. Assuming Will plays 'Barney' I can't remember exactly what he was wearing but he looked quite authentic and 'Hooky' reminded me of Ricky Gervais. Special thanks to the blokes who started dancing down the front so I could leap about without looking like a complete loser, and of course to Re:Order/Joy Revision themselves plus the venue for putting them on; £5 on the door was an absolute bargain:)

Alright mate! I was one of the mad bastards at the front. Could only manage ONE roly poly all night.MY arse must be getting heavier. Blinding set lads,you're always brilliant to watch,but I think it was the renditions of DECADES and EGG which were the WOW moments for me. Toddled off there with Jemmie,Sarah,2 of Jemmie's landlady friends,Sandra,Big Clive,and my bestest mate Daz (Baron Von Ninjapig),a bloody great night. See ya soon lads.

It was an excellent gig which is just as well considering the nightmare we had getting there. Two cars left Manchester at 5 and we didn’t get to Leeds until 7.30. I won’t go into much detail but me and Alex were shouting at each other over the phone and the red mist was ready for descending.

Anyhoo, turnout was me, Monty, Monty’s mate Darren, Canadia, Big Clive and my friends Jenny, Leanne and Sarah (oh and good and evil Spiderman).

Big Clive recognised the guy doing the door and managed to blag his way in - Shock. We met the band at the bar. That guy Andy Pennington was there too.

They opened with a complete Joy Division set which I thought was excellent. Then Re: Order. Will has got a new non-furry guitar now but it still sounded as good (can I have your old one Will?) Alex rang Hooky during Heart and Soul and kept trying to shout to Will, ‘Hooky says it’s not bad’

It was nice to see Hacienda Niel come crashing through the crowd and bounce about the dancefloor to AOC. The atmosphere about the whole place was brilliant and there was a mosh pit from the off.

I also heard Re: Order do Crystal for the first time (for me anyway), which sounded great.

Alex continued to ring Hooky so he could listen, but got messages back saying ‘Wrong band’ and ‘Fuck off texting me, I’m in Milan it’s costing me a fortune!’

Special mention to Jim Reilly for wearing leather trousers through the Re: Order set in what was already the hottest room I’ve ever been in for a gig. I was nearly fainting in a skirt and vest so every credit!

Fantastic night, I can’t wait until Crewe. Incidentally it was my friend Jenny and Leanne’s first Re: Order gig and they are chomping at the bit to see them again.

I've just remembered that all the schools finished last week, so the three of them were probably on the lash since Thursday.

Especially Sayer, i bet he was passing the booze around class last Tuesday, while smoking a fag and looking like a football hooligan!

Class day, last train back at 11.40pm, I we was there, but JT n Lucy went on hols on the sat. To be honest had day pass of bird so we got propa lashed in city centre beforehand, to the point where i 'saw' Jem, Monty n Alex n Niel but too mullered to communicate respectfully, so we stayed loitering at back. Plus spilt some drink down me new anarok so was sulking at my mates Rather liked Crystal n Jims leather strides - well gay
