when i was in high school my buddies and i would play nothing but joy division, new order, the smiths, the cure, many other bands. but i loved playing joy division and new order. I was the bass player my buddies and i would go to my oldest brother house, he had a back studio and drum set, thats was in the 80s. i havent played since the 80s, last week i was at my parents house and my nephew that is 13 had my bass guitar and ask me if i can play something. at first i didnt want to because its been over 20 years since i picked up the bass or and other instrument. but he asked please so i did, and the first thing i played was ceremony, i was suprise that i still remember how play the song i might not being playing it right but my nephew liked it and ask who plays that so i let him listen to new order and he loved it. now i want to start playing again with my old friends i now we wont sound good but to jam out like we did back then it will be a blast. I dont know why i stop playing but your never to old to start again. the music joy division and new order made was the best music i heard back then and today. i wanted to tell people about how i feel and who better than the world. peace
