Have a really good one, folks. I'll be thinking of you while i'm freezing my boo boos off on Saturday - taking 22 kids to watch Barnet vs Rotherham for Joe's birthday party. And I am SO going to hound Mark Robins on the manager's bench!

Sorry can't make it, but you know I couldn't miss Joe's birthday for anything or anyone, er....or miss Spurs vs Arsenal at White Hart Lane on Sunday (early KO) :thumb:

We'll be checking into our hotel at 2pm and hope to be out in the centre before 3. Any recommendations for a decent bar for us all to meet in?

Spoke to that Garrity fella earlier, he's also coming. He mumbled something about Blue Monday then he hung up. One of the lads from our office is coming along as well.

Looks like there'll be a fair few of us.....Cannae wait :viking:

Will hopefully be out on the town by 5ish, though knowing us it'll probably be nearer 6

Its an early start for re: order followed by the Smyths. On no later than 7-30pm as its a 10pm curfew when the venue becomes a night club.

Looking forward to seeing you there. And thanks for coming along!

I might go. Gonna enquire if trains are running with the weather as it is and everything. If they are i'll see about booking a room at the Premier Inn . Same street as Rescue Rooms innit?

Great craic.

ReOrder were fucking great, not too sure about the guitarists outfit though. I have put a good few photies on Facebook. The Smyths were good as well, cracking night for a sing song.

Good to see a good few Vikingos, tis always a pleasure and never a chore :D

Ha I had to run upstairs immediately to tell my friends, as they'd talked about hanging out of the window!!

Was a superb night. Great to hear TBTHOG again.

Oh and Simon in his frock - toot toot!! Glittery eye makeup might have been taking it a bit too far though!

Just checking the pics by everyone on facebook, I think I need to stop drinking

it helps if: a) you turn up before the bands have finished b) you put your name on the text so the recipient knows who is texting them out-of-the-blue...

In answer to the original thread question... as I don't think we've had an attendance list. JT plus: LucyJane, Alex, Janette (sp?), Edd, Johnny, Jem, Sarah, Ange (+sis), half of Corby inc. Shugs, 'Missus Shugs', John, Lorraine, Colins (uncle & diamond), and the ubiquitous Andy P from watford ....there's probably a few gaps in there. it's all a bit fuzzy now. although it was nice to get some post gig lurking and drinking in too.

Staggering in halfway between the third of your sets that tried to see didn't impress you at all, did it?

x 4!

Here is the tried and trusted method.

  1. Put the bathroom light on, turn the shower on - using the highest temperature - and leave to steam for approximately 5 minutes.
  2. Enter the bathroom armed with cigarette and a lighter is often useful.
  3. Light the cigarette and lean into the shower, taking care not to wet the cigarette.
  4. Smoke as usual blowing smoke into the shower.
  5. Distinguish the cigarette and dispose of any evidence.
  6. Spray copious amounts of deodrant, perfume, hairspray - whichever is preferred.
  7. Leave bathroom, close the door but leave the light on as this controls the extraction.
  8. Leave to extract for around 10 minutes.
  9. Smile at the arsey blonde Receptionist as you leave the building.

Repeat as necessary.

(Don't try the hanging out of the window method - when I tried this, the curtains fell down and I had to rely on the services of a midget to help put them back up again. Really! )

... and what a stupid snotty cow she was. Looked us all up and down when we walked in. Told my friend to move her car three times without actually telling her where to move it to. She didn't ask nicely either, she had a completely bad attitude. My friend almost pulled her over the counter.

I'm actually writing a letter of complaint to the hotel about several things but she's going to be the main complaint.

Stupid big nosed bitch.

Isn't that the second hotel you're complaining about in as many weekends?

Stupid, arsey, big nosed bitch!

I made the booking online secured with a credit card, but didn't take it with me, as I wanted to pay cash. Simple I thought. Not so as it happened. She took the money but then wanted ID - a passport, driving licence or utility bill would do, apparently. I didn't have any of those - what a performance. They already had my address and I was hardly likely to do a runner having parted with £50 cash. Is it me?

I didn't have one single problem with the receptionist(s)

I did, but I'm not going to go on about it :uhoh:
