I disagree. With Twisted Wheel, The Enemy and Kasabian supporting, it will be like a mini festival. I can't wait!

Kasabian and Twisted Wheel are not. I might not be into Oasis now but I still want to hear the songs from my youth.

........I've finally succumbed.....brother in law has a spare for saturday after splitting with girlfriend and he mustn't really have any pals cos he's oined me all week to go with him........for free........lift down.......walk back down 66 with right thumb sticking out....

Rumours have it that a pint is £6.50. I'm waiting for confirmation when I get in work. If that's the case, I'll only be going in for Kasabian and Oasis.
Just watching the news there, it seems there was a 50 minute technical delay last night and Noel Gallagher told everybody they'd get a full refund!
The Enemy are out too by the way, the singer has a dicky tummy. Hooray! Reverend and the Makers are standing in :\ohwell:
Edit: It was just a rumour, only £3.50. Phew!
Oasis, Kasabian and The Enemy all on the same bill??? Is that 'Room 101' programme still on? Cos that would be my idea of a living hell. Three of the worst examples of 'lads/dads rock' playing to 30,000 pissed up blokes (and a few token berds) in a park in Manchester. Yuk!

Hhhhmmmmmmmmmmmm...........you may well be right.........let you know when I get back in a bit.......TADA:\ohwell:
Just got back from this
Thought it was good in general but they could have done with being a bit louder in my opinion, thought it was really quite quiet
Good setlist
But horrible, horrible crowd.

Got to agree......thought Liam couldn't hit the first note much of the time.....set list was ok......think they should have played more from the latest album which really is top quality imo.......bobbins audience![]()
.......highlight.......Falling Down......![]()
....low light the bogs in the 3 Arrows....
....wouldn't wanna wear me flip-flops in there man........![]()
I think they must have sorted the sound out as it wasn't too bad last night. I thought it was brilliant from start to finish. The set up was great, you could get served at the bar immediately every time.
It was a real festival atmosphere, to the point of people having camp fires. Also the piss throwing and horrible toilets.
Twisted Wheel are my new favourite band.

You might be right. There could be years of pent-up resentment in that post. He's waited seven years to say that.

What have Oasis left us with? Kaiser fucking Chiefs. Think about that. Oasis for all their Manchester credentials never had and never will never have the humour and piss taking irreverence that New Order did circa 1983 - 1986.

.....Aye but to be fair NO have left us with Franz Turdinhand......![]()
Mate got me a ticket forthe Sunderland, and tbh, was not looking forward to it. Missed reverend, last 10 mins of enemy, seen Kasabien, not a fan at all, and sounded very 'muddy' Had the usual piss throwing scuffers, but hey ........ Oasis were really good, good sound, good setlist. I'd actually go again
I have a spare STANDING ticket for Thursday July 9 at London's Wembley Stadium..price is £50 which is face value
Please PM me if interested
