Thank fcuk for that - I haven't got either my Manc or London ones... I was beginning to sweat! ![]()

Having said all that, the forecast for Monday (when I'm travelling back Sarf) is for heavy snow up North...
It doesn't take much for trains to stop running... :dead:

Don't suppose anybody has a spare for sale? Got my eye on one on Ebay but they're all sent next day recorded delivery. The posties round our way don't even knock, they just return parcels to the Post Office Depot for collection. Mine will be shut on Saturday so I don't want to risk it.

I'll be happy with that - I'm getting a train back on Monday straight to a Night shift at work :dead:
May I suggest The Northern, in the Northern Quarter. It's big enough for us all and should be fairly quiet with it being Sunday.
I'll be there from 5pm ![]()

What I mean is, if you're worried about not getting them in time you can pick them up from the venue, innit.
My spares have gone.
Vinnie - if you'd got in touch you could have had them. Only shifted them about 1 am this morning ![]()

An acoustic version? :(
As I never saw Electronic perform live, I sincerely hope that they do one song. But definitely not an acoustic version. I'm hoping for either Disappointed, Getting Away With It or Get The Message.

Yeah, probably. Mine arrived by recorded delivery yesterday.
Where are we meeting Monday?
What was Greg going on about - Tapas?

Got ebay tickets today by recorded delivery. Greg has got a third off the tapas bar in the O2, which was cheap enough anyway. He can do cheap beers as well, although only to a limited extent.
The Teacher wrote: My ticket is on my desk at work. Snow has closed college. Bugger.
But how will you cope missing Bad Lieutenant?
Me and Well Red are meeting in Odder on Oxford Road at 1pm if anyone fancies gettin' involved early doors.
yes tapas tapas is a good eatery and bar, but I get 33% off in most places with my pass, the usual story of bars, but all get rammed. And maybe you could to Al wearing your pink hat!!![]()

At the O2 tomorrow, as it's a bit cold and all that, I will be sporting leather chaps and a peaked cap.

Did for me as well... I got within seven miles of home at 5.30... the seven miles took me 3 hours.
Burt Burterson wrote: Did for me as well... I got within seven miles of home at 5.30... the seven miles took me 3 hours.
Took me longer than usual to get into London, managed to spectualarly miss the first couple of Bad Lieutenant songs (although that was due to drinking and smoking rather than the weather), and left after the first 4 or 5 Pet Shop Boys songs so that the trip home would be relatively stress free...
It seems that a bit more snow and then the snow freezing to ice is playing havoc... :dead:
Oh, and Bernard's retort to Greg was superb! ![]()

Actually... although i didnt remember shouting it.. There is a very fine 'Get yer cock out' on the official Paris radio recording. I'm dead proud. I hope my landlord wasn't shouting that sort of stuff at a PSB gig.
Besides you are never going to find that classic 'moment of silence' that I filled in Brighton.
Edit: AND I'll bet he didn't get a direct response from Barney either.

Is this turning into a game of heckling oneupmanship?

PAH...
Well ok.. I'm just going to revel in the memory of legendary unrecorded first gig unplanned heckling stuff then.
A bootleg might surface in 2022 as the original, rather than these Northern beard-wearing sheep merely copying the concept.

Thought Bad Loo were great last night. Well the bit I saw of them. The Bad Loo tracks really filled the big venue and Jake's voice seemed suited to that environment. Can see them coming across well at Festivals.
They appeared relaxed and happy, even when Greg was offering 'encouragement'.
Contrasting with the 2 PSB songs I hung around for while finishing my pint ![]()

Well the O2 wasn't 'Heaven' but Bad Loo did a good job seeing as they had limited time and most PSB fans did not take much interest. Loved hearing a 'proper' BLT. Missed first track and some of the banter as was sat up in the gods stage left. Had to sit through the whole PSB show (Mrs GAMICS is a fan) - were even most of the vocals pre-recorded or was the big screen out of synch with the sound?
Did any notice a slightly different intro to Crystal? BLT was BOOMING over that system too!
You guys should have stayed for the PSB..it was an amazing show! And it was filmed for a upcoming dvd release ![]()
Thanks Wolfram for the seats..much better than standing at the back ![]()
All those who missed out on the pics I had for you will have to wait til next time ![]()

Pandemonium live DVD/CD
"Pandemonium Live, The O2 Arena, London, 21 December, 2009" is the full title of Pet Shop Boys' live double-pack DVD and CD which will be released by Parlophone on February 15 (international release dates will vary slightly).
The DVD includes the full Pandemonium show filmed by David Barnard who directed Pet Shop Boys' "Cubism" DVD. The sound has been mixed for DVD by Dave Woolley. There are also seven DVD extra features: "My girl" and "It doesn't often snow at Christmas" (Live at the O2); the music videos for "Love etc.", "Did you see me coming?" and "All over the world"; the complete 2009 Brits Awards performance, featuring Lady Gaga and Brandon Flowers; and an audio commentary by Pet Shop Boys and stage designer Es Devlin.
The CD includes 17 songs from the show (the full show is too long to fit on a single CD) and has been mixed by Stuart Price. These audio tracks will also be available to purchase separately as a digital download. The track-listing is:
1 More than a dream ⁄ Heart 2 Did you see me coming? 3 Pandemonium ⁄ Can you forgive her? 4 Love etc. 5 Go west 6 Two divided by zero 7 Why don’t we live together? 8 New York City boy 9 Always on my mind 10 Closer to Heaven ⁄ Left to my own devices 11 Do I have to? 12 King’s Cross 13 Suburbia 14 Se a vida é ⁄ Discoteca ⁄ Domino dancing ⁄ Viva la vida 15 It’s a sin 16 Being boring 17 West End girls
