Hey folks,

I just checked Ticketmaster and I saw that the NO show at the Roseland Ballroom is gonna be $74 -- that seems like a lot for a standing room only, GA ticket. I saw NO at Hammerstein Ballroom in 2005 for $55. And I think Hammerstein is a better venue -- they actually have seats! Is this just inflation or is NO that much more of a draw without Hooky?!?!?

I would go with inflation, but I except to pay 100 for a ticket.

Of course in NYC the tickets would be $75 when they are $50 at all the other US dates.

Toronto was $90. That being said, if we get shoot at the concert, we have medical care provided free by the government. Please note, CDN/US dollar are worth basically the same, ever since you guys blow up your economy.

thanks

I second Linus....

If anyone here in NYC has an extra ticket, please consider selling it to me, I would be happy to meet up anywhere in the city. I work in the Soho/Chinatown area and live in Brooklyn.

Friday is sold out too. There's tickets starting for 82 dollars on stubhub which isn't THAT bad.. but then there's the 5 dollars print at home charge.

I have my bus tickets sorted, now I just have to get my concert tickets sorted.

Nice one Andres.

Not sure a JD tribute band floats my boat. I mean, we've already got The Light haven't we?. And do we really want to give any more of our cash to Ticketmaster?!. I'm sure there will be loads of options, lets see nearer the time.

A few months maybe?

Thing was Chrissy, the old board was getting spammed to fuck, so needed something with better controls. Didn't help that virtually all the mods (except Ally, Jeff & Shug) and the owner went AWOL for about 3 years so it was a bit of a runaway train and became a spammers playground.

Good to see you back.

yep, i'm so happy for doing the trip to the states and flying 2.500 miles to see New Order...expensive but it will be worth it. I haven't seen the light by the way hahaha.

I'd agree here; apart from terminal 5, roseland is one of the worst venues to see a show in nyc. i basically bought chicago tickets so that i could see them at a venue apart from roseland (doing one roseland show, short of being able to see a 1984-aged version of new order i could hardly do 2 nights in a row there).

Is there any pre-gig meetup? May I suggest Russian Samovar, just down the street from the venue. I've read they have wonderful food there!!

I 'may' have a spare for the 19th. I'm flying over from the UK, definitely doing the gig on the 18th but I might have to go home on the 19th. Will be happy to let the spare go to a forum member for $74 (face+fees) but I can't confirm my situation just yet.

I'll take it, if you still have to fly back early.

Hey all,

I know that this is my first post, but it seems that my account was deleted that I used to post on regularly here back in 04/05... Anyways, I have an extra ticket for this show, and all I would want is face value for the ticket. If you are interested, just let me know. I will also be taping both nights. E-ticket, so I can send it to you immediately. Let me know if anyone is interested. Thanks!

Any news on who's supporting yet? The Roseland website is still showing events from August, don't think it's changed since the US tour was announced.

Seems Ticketmaster give them specifically on the date of the gig if you did choose the will call option. let's see...

I didn't choose will call. I'm going to both dates now anyway that is unless they put on a really crap gig on the first date [:d]

I maybe interested. Are these still available? Hard tickets? PM me if needed.

Trying to get some schedules rearranged. Fly out from LA. We will most likely attend both nights.

Any idea where to pick up will call tickets for roseland gigs and if they are really only available one hour before showtime? Any info is appreciated :) I tried emailing ticketmaster but their answer was pretty much useless. Anyway, super excited to see new order again.

You must pick them up right at the venue before the show.

The wait is over. The support will be.....

Win Win. 😕

What time have New Order been starting their sets on the tour so far - Win Win might be amazing but I might have an extra beer or two before going in if thats it.

The DJ will be none other than Billy Caldwell, who Mancunians may remember from Hacienda/Home/Epping in the good old days.

I've never been a huge fan of Here to Stay, but that and Your Silent Face were the highlights of a really great show. Glad they fixed the popping amp because that was getting annoying really fast. Who caught the melodica?
