It certainly does! This is a very significant program of events. I think my wallet will spilleth over...
Excellent!

This is often the way with Vivid events - they get artist exclusivity.
Hard to pass up for the price of air tickets and hotels though; doubt we'll see events this momentous here again.
Well, at least until Hooky's Substance extravaganza arrives.
Still wouldn't be surprised if NO returned for a wider tour later in the year.
Speculation:
2 nights performances in each format offers an opportunity to film the shows with backup for any unforeseen issues, technical or otherwise. And Mute was never shy about releasing VHS/DVD/Blu-rays of Depeche Mode tours...
Anyone had any kind of response when signing up for the presale at http://vividlive.sydneyoperahouse.com/home/new-order/? Tried with 2 email addresses and nothing.
EDIT: further to this, although I am a Ticketmaster member, for some reason I had the alert/presales option unchecked in my email alerts. So I guess I missed the codeword you need for the presale - unless there's a caring, sharing NOOLer who can PM with the code which I would appreciate immensely :)

Here we go again.
Starting to feel ominously like the semi-shambles of Kraftwerk tickets at Vivid 2013.
I too have attempted to sign up to both Vivid LIVE and the Vivid Festival. Vivid Festival has a stupid sign-up glitch that can't be bypassed.
Vivid LIVE - as per your link above - is the critical one here. Looks like you need to sign-up here before end of tomorrow (Sunday) to get a crack at the pre-sale. I've tried a few times and can get to the acknowledgement screen, but would also expect to get some sort of email confirmation. Poor form again.
So I emailed them on their listed contact address only to get an "Invalid Recipient" response. Amateur hour stuff. Email now forwarded to their bookings office.
As for Ticketmaster, are they actually handling sales? Last time it was managed via the SOH bookings office directly.

Yep, I share your fears after seeing the Vivid website at crucial spots is still showing 2015 info. I'm a bit nervous about who is actually handling the bookings but I did get this message from Vivid after messaging them about not getting a confirmation email: "Hi, there was no confirmation email that went with the subscription on the website, however as long as it confirmed that you had joined on screen right after you put your information through, that should be enough! An email will be sent out to you before the presale begins!"
So yeah, fingers crossed
Does anybody know if the presale pass has been sent out?
Trying to get tickets for the interstate presale? Or any of them so I can lockdown travel.
I have tried all the pre-registration stuff but nothing so far. Have been burnt by vivid/sydneyoperahouse before....

It's a fucking shambles. The Vivid presale which I got an email about is apparently TOMORROW not today...no warning about that. Then Ticketmaster tell me that Vivid are handling the interstaters presale which is supposedly now on...but doesn't work. No luck seeing anything relating to ticket sales :(
Okay well the first presale was either over in about 1 minute, or was just a con.. Just a 'Sorry event you have selected has passed' message...

Nope, it never happened!
Here's the reply I got from Ticketmaster: " The interstate presale has been delayed; registered interstate VIVID members will receive a link and updated time later today. The MyTicketmaster presale will still proceed at 11am Tuesday"
What the hell? I'm booked!
It's no con - GET IN THERE NOW!
Live since 11:00am. I received my email after 12:00pm of course.
Fcuking top shelf shambles - yet again!
Got the presale email, added events to cart, took me to SOH ticket site which said the Events Had Passed. Fuck.
Clear glitches - best to call the SOH ticket line direct, but expect long delay. They'll take your $ with a smile.
Sorted premium tix for 4th and 5th for me and the missus. Wallet now spewing hot lava.
A side note to all:
Don't forget to book tickets to the Morley/Cummins/Manchester talks at the same time.
Although entry is free, seats are limited.

What was the SOH ticket number you called mate?
What was the SOH ticket number you called mate?
02 9250 7777. Took 15-20 mins to get to a human but then it was OK from there.

Best advice ever - called the number, 5 mins later had tix for the 4th and 5th. Excited! Cheers mate
Mind you what a shameful way of doing business...online sales are actually offline and you have to call a hardly-publicised number of the venue who are gleefully taking sales, before the presales

The guy from the SOH I spoke to didn't know anything about these and the links appear not to lead to event tickets at the moment, unless I'm missing something

Damn they're outdoing themselves this year.
I believe you are missing something. Perhaps try my link above?
If you click into "Talks: New Order x Paul Morley" for example, it takes you to a screen to reserve seats.

All sorted. On returning home from work today my home email account had a lovely little pre-sale email from SOH that I'd missed. Clicked on that and lo and behold, sales are very much live at time of writing. Won't be able to make the separate Morley and Cummins talks but have booked into the Manchester event featuring both of them. Whoo hoo!
Tickets booked, thanks for the number in the previous post, was easy to ring as the website is a sh!tfight.
I've booked 4th (with ACO) and 5th (NO by themselves), premium seat looks like about row E.
Any other NOOLers doing the first two shows? Be good to catch up for a traditional pre-gig Pernod.
Just myself and CTB going early so far, sounds like the weekender's the popular pick.
Haven't heard much from the Sydney Order. Poisoned Snickers is probably already camped out for them at the airport.

Hah, this time I got caught out with pants off....stuck deep with crazy project deadlines etc...so I was a bit out of touch.
Anyway all is not lost...presale for Sydneysiders is this morning 11am...fingers crossed I get something decent.
Lucky Matthew Auger scored row E tixs hours after in the night.
Oh

Mike’s imagination wants to see.. some Vivid tickets in reality.
Saturday sold out. Man I'd be dark if I didn't know about the shambles that was the pre-sale before today's public release. What an effing joke. Oh well...time to count my blessings and book me some flights
All 4 shows appear to be sold out...before the general public sale is even released. What does it say about a company that then allows you, on their site, to buy 'Re-sale' tickets that a-holes have bought purely for personal gain at nearly $600 a pop? Ticketmaster = ethically bereft
All four dates were sold out before general public tickets went on sale. There's a fair amount of ranting over on Vivid's facebook page... Ticketmaster Resale has some available already with a hefty mark-up.
Surprised NO mailing list members didn't get offered a pre-sale. Sydney Opera House members were offered a pre-sale from 9am, before the Vivid pre-sale was available.
* edit - facebook comments have been deleted.
Vivid you are hopelessly ill-equipped to handle ticketing for this event.
New Order fans not the only ones venting.
This follows on from Vivid 2013 where they thoughtfully sent me 24 tickets to Kraftwerk at over $2000 in value in a lightweight, uninsured envelope that split open en route and barely arrived before I had to fly to the festival.
At least we got tickets. That's all that can be said.

So useless.

Ian,
I'm coming over for the Thursday night gig. It's been a while....
