listening to an early concert kindly provided by someone from the site recently & the order played an encore of a song that had the above as the lyrics repeated pretty much throughout

It's "When I'm With You", a cover from The Sparks, a 70s band. It was performed live on June 22nd 1982 at the Rolling Stone in Milano, Italy.
By the way, I will "wear DR Martins like ROCKET MICK" and disappear because I got some messages deleted. Bye bye. :p
